Does this refer to women's football ? In which case Blyth Spartans women won the Munitionettes Cup in 1918 - this being played between womens teams drawn from munitions factories. Can't think of a link to Chester though.
Yes, played for by the two teams that went furthest in the FA Cup from the 1st Round. I vaguely remember it being won by Blyth after their great cup run that year. It was brought to my attention by an item on Talksport which eventually helped trace the trophy missing for over 30 years.
