    I used to sound quite a lot like that myself in my teens to be honest.

    The harshest North-Eastern accent (I hesitate to say geordie) I ever heard was a guy from Barnard Castle who was ushered to me (when I was working in Leicester) as I was the one from Newcastle. I couldn't make out a single word he said, it makes that video seem like the Queens English.
