Exercise definitely helps. I’m not playing as much golf as I used too. Would always sleep well the night after playing 18. I was playing 3 times a week.
Usually go to bed between 2-3 am. After eating and a few beers, always awake by 7-8. Then overdose myself with coffee.
Three, buy LFC’s ‘This year is our year’ CD or Madder Jeffrey’s ‘Cooking curry from every village in India’. If that doesn’t work try Spurs ‘Four glorious failures’ but this is for hardcore insomniacs.
I need eight hours to feel great but during work time only get about seven. I never feel that good during a working week. Agree on exercise, when we went skiing we were ****ed and in bed by half nine, straight though to at least half seven. Ten hours kip, literally never felt better. The clean mountain air would have helped too.
Every time things start to go west for me I just start training intensively and the sleep I need at the end of each day generally sorts me out after a week or so. This week I’ve done exactly that as it happens.
Not sure if it's even been mentioned yet, but what time do you go to bed @luvgonzo ? If you're staying up past around 11/12pm then I reckon most people will wake up tired, regardless of how many hours sleep you get. My granddad used to say that an hour's sleep before midnight is worth two after midnight. Not sure how true that is, but I aim to get to bed around 9:30pm-10pm most week nights. Also, for me I have black out blinds and I leave the window open to get fresh air in the room, cannot be dealing with a stuffy airless room. Also +1 for the exercise, and oh yeah, don't forget to fill up
You could try counting sheep or doesn’t that have the same effect on Welsh People? Melatonin is meant to be a good way of normalising your sleeping cycle. You can get pills at the chemist. It must be good as it states that one of the side effects is drowsiness!
You are posting from your bed?, are you drinking mullberry wine also? There is a certain person on here, who likes to drink wine in bed, and also post to tell us about it. Mind, he's a freak.
