I’ve always been willing to give Bruce the benefit of the doubt with regard to the last year or so, with the injuries we’ve had etc. However watching the match today, it’s clear there is something seriously wrong. The body language of our players was awful, there was no confidence, nous or any indication we could possibly get a result today. Believe me Chelsea weren’t that good, our defeat was down to the fact we were truly awful in every department. I think we've reached that awful stage where the manager has lost the dressing room and players look disinterested. Yeah Ji scored near the end but the fact is it was meanless and was never going to paper over the gaping cracks that are currently showing.

For the first time I honestly believe Bruce’s days are numbered and have a sneaky suspicion he’ll jump before he’s pushed. There was an awful inevitability about today’s defeat and I have zero confidence of any kind of improvement in the next few games. We have a good squad at Sunderland and they are punching way below their weight. The Gyan debacle just pushes the idea further forward that maybe fundamental changes have to be made in the immediate future to save our season. I never thought I’d be saying this 2 months ago but unfortunately the gut feeling of doom has arrived and I’m sure it’s landed in many of your stomachs too. Big changes ahead! I can feel it and I want it.

For me, and yes its weird, we have 2 away points, Liverpool and Swansea which were never going to be easy games, we get beat off the toon, which are just our bogey side 1 win in 30 years at home, and then we get beat off Chelsea 1-2 at home.

The Results in themselves considering who we have played are not the end of the world. Gyan going may be though (but personally I still dont believe it will be).

I agree with you he should go, however I cannot see it happening any time soon, sadly.

Bruce won't leave and Quinn won't sack him, I mean Quinn wasn't gonna sack Sbraiga! <yikes>

Unless Short loses his patience and sacks him (please!!) if Bruce was gonna leave he would've done it when we went through our awful losing streaks.

I am gloom and doom at the moment. Its not all Bruce's fault. He was asked to come. He didn't ask.

I honestly, truly blame Quinn. With all his promises; his magic carpet ride. His world class managers and his we will scoure the Earth for a quality centre forward. Never heard it on here before, but, hey QUINN LIED!

    There you go.

    QUINN OUT.

Right! FFS what the **** are we doing loaning out our star striker 2 weeks after the transfer deadline has past when were thin up top already?

Today we did not bother them at all, i dont mind losing to chelsea but for ****s sake the least i expect is that we give it a crack!

WTF was bruce doing taking bardsley of and replacing him with Elmo!

We went 2 nil down at 50 mins and i would of brought wickham on straight away and went 4-4-2 but bruce waited till 25 mins to go!

    Bruce is ****in clueless man!

    F U C K off Bruce now! Just F U C K off now!

Swear I saw ES leaving his seat at around 80mins on the live stream. Could be wrong though, just have a feeling they wouldnt show a random corporate ticket leaving his seat...

P.S. Anyone reading previous posts that said I was leaving, well, ignore it. Not Bruce's fault. It is Quinns. HE HAS TO GO.!

Don't think for one second this will happen.

I agree with this. If you read my post it does say 2 points isn't BAD. But I think its the way we have played and his tactics that have put the pressure on him.

    Super article, korean mackem.

Chelsea weren't anything special today, nothing like Man United or Man City. I'd have expected most teams in the PL to have taken at least a point off them playing at home. We were absolutely abysmal, barring Brown and Bramble. Brown was a class act throughout. It is seriously worrying times. We need some major recruitment in january but god knows what state we'll be in by then. I just can't see how we can pick up points. We'd have lost playing anyone today, and i believe that strongly. Bruce has absolutely no idea how to set up a team capable of playing football, i can't accept how clueless the man is. I'm sure Gyan is not the only man wanting out now. They all look like they want out.

p.s I just wanted to say, Sessegnon gave one of the worst performances i've seen from a footballer in a long time.

So scraping 2 points and playing **** football is the way forward?
Not for me I want SAFC to improve, not stagnate and go backward.

A team needs to be settled to be successful.... If a player wants to go, why make him stay and disrupt harmony? Unfortunately it would seem the parasites won this round and the club had to make a decision. give a disheartened and looking else where player whois looking low on confidence a start, wait for the fans to bring him down further when he doesn't perform, have to keep playing him coz he is a top end earner at the club = club loses. move him on allow the squad room to galvanize fans get on the manager chairman wners back fo letting him go = club loses. Gyans people are the problem here, not the club, not the manager (although match day tactics do stop at his doorstep) leave off the club and manager over this. it was largely out of their hands and they have tried to make the best out of a lose/lose situation ion the fans eyes.

    Blame gyans advisors.
