I think the only way Chuka will make PM is if he takes just a tiny step further to the right and joins the Tory party.
Stories circulating say he is being funded by a Tory donor, so who knows what his next step will be.

Well yeah. Another story is that Tony Blair is standing by with backers in place waiting to fund a M.O.R party, but who knows? Blair claims to still be a Labour member btw.

    March today

And for comparison, here's Fromage addressing the March to Leave shambles (I swear that's it in its entirety, including police and journalists)

    upload_2019-3-23_19-13-17.png :

That's all. So we have this utter disaster of a ****show, a national calamity that's being distorted by ill-informed ****ers who think this is all a bit of debating japery rather than the most important decision this country's made in decades. People who have millions in their accounts and so who don't give a toss about what's going to happen to the common man, people who've moved money into the EU (JRM very visibly, others doubtless less so) to protect themselves.

To them it's a bit of fun. To several hundred thousand people today it was important enough to travel to London, and with excellent good humour and wit, protest. (A copper told me it was "golden duty" doing our marches).

It's not over till the fat lady sings. She may be warming up with scales in the dressing room but anything could happen.

However, notwithstanding the boost today has given me, I'm still catastrophically badly off mentally over this ****ing triumph so I'm off back into hiding.

    Vin

Something that's missing from that admirably balanced view is the fact that 98% of economists predicted that Brexit will cause the UK economy to shrink, 2% that it will grow. That's a rather important addendum.

Well done Vin I wish I could have made it over. Difficult not to but don't let the bastards drive you down. Plenty of support here.

Germany's GDP is 43% larger than that of the UK. Any economist suggesting that the UK will catch up in five years isn't an economist.

Apathy rules above. Leaving will in most educated opinions bring short and long term damage to those that are least able to cope. Enough I'm off rage against the machine.

I've read a lot of similar comments from people that "claimed" that they voted remain, i'm dubious of that to say the least.

Nice reasoned argument you quoted there.
I know how I voted and the reason was not really for the joint market but the fact that I believe that some of the issues the world faces can only be solved by Nations working closer together.
Happy to debate but not at the level of the quoted comment.

Vin is a small businessman who has voted Tory for most of his life, he is that passionate a remainer that he attended the people's march today that says a lot about the coming economical ****storm if we leave the EU to me.
