Chatting in another thread so thought I'd open this up. I have trouble sleeping but not falling asleep or staying asleep it's just that I wake early and can't go back to sleep. I tend to get about 6 hours before I wake and then feel terrible until I get up and brush my teeth and have a coffee or tea. I feel tired a lot because of this but once I wake I cannot go back off and never nap in the day. Anyone else have trouble sleeping or crazy cures for us who cannot?
Since I've stopped drinking I don't think I've woken up past 8, normally between half 6 and 7. I very rarely feel tired during the day though. Maybe you could try that luvvy
Doesn't matter if I've had a drink or not still wake around the same time and still feel bad until I get up. Mrs luv just tells me to try and go back to sleep but I feel terrible and have to get up to make that go away.
How do you know you wake up early, via looking at the time? Remove the clock from the room. Or maybe via the break of daylight? Buy blackout curtains. You cannot go back to sleep? Six hours is enough for some people. You feel tired a lot? Then go back to sleep You feel terrible until you have coffee or tea? Welcome to the club, now stop asking such stupid fooking questions this time of the morning
I don't look at the clock until I make the decision to get up and can't go back to sleep I just lie there feeling **** until I get up. Another hour and I'd probably not feel tired all day. Plus side is that it's quiet and I can read and chill.
If you don't look at the clock, can't you pretend to your brain it had another hour, because if it can't see the time how will it know any difference. And who's stupid fooking idea was it to be in South London early today....if i see any of those remain marchers, i might end up on the news
I rarely sleep more than 6 hours. It’s enough for me. Your body is probably telling you it’s had enough rest and you can get up now.
Maybe, but I feel tired throughout the day. I suppose it's just a pattern based on the working week that I can't get out of on the weekend.
My sleep depends on many things. I usually get a good 8/9 hours, but that’s when I’m not drinking or I’m not ill. Had a blasted cold for the past week, so only been getting about 7 hours in.
These geezers say 7-9 hours and I feel that if I could get 7 is feel a lot better. https://www.sleepfoundation.org/excessive-sleepiness/support/how-much-sleep-do-we-really-need
Are you a light sleeper after dawn Luv? Do you get disturbed from your sleep by the slightest noise or if someone else is up and about around the house?
Have some morning sex...that usually does the trick. oh yeah youre married arent you? just have a **** then
