I need to reply to this...
I will mate. You was right and I was wrong. May let me down and cost me a beer. She has also lost my vote. I reckon we should have the beer at the Bracknell Conservative club in 2 weeks when Jacob Rees Mogg is doing his speech on Europe. That should be fun. :emoticon-0100-smile
PS Watford, please tell me you didn’t sign that ridiculous petition trying to revoke A50? I have heard today that many of the 2m don’t even live in the UK and signing from all corners of the World! <laugh> Muppets.

I heard Farage, who really is becoming a florid snowflake, going on about this on the wireless this morning. He was claiming that Russia had influenced the petition (which did happen with a previous one). He might well be right, The Kremlin has a lot of fun doing whatever it can to destabilise and sow discord in western democracies. But at least it wasn’t funded by a man who is being investigated by the National Crime Agency for his corrupt connections, especially with Russia, like Farage’s campaigns have been, and about which he refuses to answer questions.

Farage is a very interesting individual. Not bright, easily spooked, but devious. His true agenda is alt right and his international connections demonstrate this. But he is portrayed here as some kind of good bloke down the golf club.

It’s a long read but enlightening.

I filled my details in and they’ve not emailed me to confirm yet. Apparently it takes up to 24 hours :azn:

But yeah it’s not really my thing.

Can’t believe Bracknell has a Conservative club.

I am tech geek I can tell anyone on here that the background code is solid on the gov pet sites

Cross referencing code against electoral postcodes and known databases of email addresses is evident

So bollocks but yes you will have some work rounds but if the validation fails the vote is not counted

Two petitions on the same platform will give figures that can be deemed accurate to at least 90%

3m now and growth over time is also a big factor of current popular opinion

How’s the no deal one going for the real moaners?

Of course a large percentage of the voters here do not have access or knowledge of a online environment that is factually correct so any online thing is NOT that accurate but it remains interesting?

It will come but the email servers currently can’t cope with what’s called the MIME construction

The rate is increasing and based on the current strength the figure could reach 10m by Tuesday

Have to say that the extension deal given by the EU is a brilliant piece of politics. Everything still on the table, but responsibility solely with the UK.

I really can't be bothered clicking on the link, why couldn't you copy and paste the whole article like others do?

Actually, I did read it and it's quite frightening. His jolly-chap-down-the-pub likeability (to some) is being used by his connections to promote their alt-right agenda. He's actually a dangerous man.

But wait. I'm sure Goldie has read somewhere that all 27 countries are about to collapse, their citizens are ready to come out in demonstrations against their current representatives and have demanded that they agree a new deal with us which gives us everything we wanted. Just remember. You read it here first.

The impressive thing is that 27 leaders of 27 countries plus those from the EU institutions with different and sometimes contradictory objectives can still thrash something out over a few hours. Because they understand, even people like Orban, that compromise is essential. If they can do it why can’t the UK cabinet, the Tory Party etc etc. No need to answer, I have a hunch I might know why.

They've given us two extensions. Absolutely ****ing brilliant! But then, it's the EU, Stan. If Farage had done it, it would have been not very bright but devious

Wait to see the rise of the Alt Right in the May elections. Did you see this:

    Dutch provincial vote
Far-right Forum for Democracy wins most seats in Dutch provincial elections.

    By Eline Schaart

    3/20/19, 11:23 PM CET

    Updated 3/21/19, 5:17 PM CET

Far-right populist newcomer Forum for Democracy stunned the Dutch political establishment after winning the most votes in provincial elections, according to a preliminary count on Thursday of almost all the votes.

Strong gains made by both the Euroskeptics and the Greens in Wednesday’s election mean Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is on course to lose control of the upper house of parliament.

Don’t think Farage is in much of a position to do anything but gather 60 or so people for a march he won’t dare be seen attending.

He just taken leadership of the Brexit Party. He could build that into a powerful force if Brexit is denied, and the Tories must be very aware of this. So too Labour, who could lose their support in the North of England, just as they lost their support in Scotland
