We simply wait for March 29th and we legally leave the EU with no deal.
Anyone who trys to prevent this is breaking the law and should be arrested.
That means any of the MP's who vote for an extension to Article 50 or another referendum.

It's clear that anyone against this is being paid-off by the EU.
    Criminals.

I honestly think that the EU and the government have part engineered this. I can just see MI5 knocking on the door of Bercow with faked pictures of him and some lady of the night the day before he randomly decided to give his speech....

Whatever you think of Brexit, the fact that we are 9 days away from one of the most important events in the last 50 years and not only don't know but also can't control whether it is happening or not is the most staggering act of incompetence I have ever witnessed from a government.

And the competition for that prize is fierce.

This is what happens when the vast majority of MPs don’t want to leave. They self serve.

I can appreciate that if, as an MP, I honestly think that leaving will damage the economy and is against the best wishes of my constituents then I may vote against Brexit despite the referendum.

However, we had a general election following the referendum and MP's wishing to take this stance needed to make it clear to their constituents that this was their view so as to give the electorate the choice to oust them for it. The fact most of them will have kept the view to themselves during the election even though they must have already formed it at that stage is at best self serving and at worst downright deceitful.

This is May's fault. She knew in November that her deal was not wanted. She could have spent 4 months putting an alternative together. Instead, she has played chicken. No one is blinking.

So it seems like the EU has essentially done what we we should have and put 4 clear options on the table:
    1. Agree to the deal next week and formally leave in June
    2. Dont agree to the deal next week and leave with no deal on 12th April
    3. Don’t agree to the deal next week and have a longer extension but take part in Euro elections
    4. Withdraw Article 50.

To me only options 1 and 2 are worth considering as they honour the referendum result. I would prefer 1. but lets see what Parliament can do now.

I can see all hell breaking loose next week which will only succeed in moving us closer to No Deal.

Her deal is weak as **** though.

Option 2 is sadly now the best option.

(I automatically removed option 4 from my consideration)

Well, I’m hacked off. I had a bet on a no deal Brexit at 7:1.

I’m now going to lose because we’re still going to leave without a deal, we’ve just pointlessly delayed it until 12th April.

To be clear: No deal will be a disaster. That’s why I put money on as a hedge. Having an extra month’s rent in hand is a good idea during an economic meltdown.

Agree. It's like a bus driver being asked to drive his route for 8 hours... then deciding, with a full bus he'll ignore the instructions of his bosses and stop off at home for 2-3 hours for a long lunch.

Seems a fair assessment of the current options.
