After 6 months in Sydney I learnt to mute the commentary on any sporting event so I didn’t have to listen to the one-eyed moaning claptrap at every decision that didn’t go the way of the Aussies. Maybe they were quiet after the defeat ( I doubt it, quiet and Australian don’t generally go hand in hand) but they whinged like hell during the defeat. Actually during the wins as well. The concept of whinging poms has validity. It’s just the hypocrisy of it
DIARY OF A POM IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA August 31 Just got transferred with work from Leeds UK to our new home in Karratha , Western Australia . Now this is a town that knows how to live! Beautiful, sunny days and warm, balmy evenings. I watched the sunset from a deckchair by our pool yesterday. It was beautiful. I’ve finally found my new home. I love it here. September 13 Really heating up now. It got to 31 today. No problem though. Living in air-conditioned home, driving air-conditioned car. What a pleasure to see the sun every day like this. I’m turning into a sun-worshipper no blasted rain like back in Leeds! September 30 Had the back yard landscaped with tropical plants today.Lots of palms and rocks.No more mowing lawns for me! Another scorcher today, but I love it here.It’s Paradise ! October 10 The temperature hasn’t been below 35 all week. How do people get used to this kind of heat? At least today it’s windy though. Keeps the flies off a bit. Acclimatizing is taking longer than we expected. October 15 Fell asleep by the pool yesterday. Got third degree burns over 60% of my body. Missed three days off work. What a dumb thing to do.. Got to respect the old sun in a climate like this! October 20 Didn’t notice Kitty (our cat) sneaking into the car before I left for work this morning. By the time I got back to the car after work, Kitty had died and swollen up to the size of a shopping bag and stuck to the upholstery. The car now smells like Whiskettes and cat ****. I’ve learned my lesson though: no more pets in this heat. October 25 This wind is a bastard. It feels like a giant ****ing blow dryer and it’s hot as hell! The home air conditioner is on the blink and the repair man charged $200 just to drive over and tell me he needs to order parts from ****ing Perth. The wife & the kids are complaining. October 30 -The temperature’s up around 40 and the parts still haven’t arrived for the ****ing air conditioner. House is an oven so we’ve all been sleeping outside by the pool for 3 nights now. Bloody $600,000 house and we can’t even go inside. Why the hell did I ever come here? November 4 Finally got the ****ing air-conditioner fixed. It cost $1,500 and gets the temperature down to around 25 degrees, but the humidity makes it feel about 35. Stupid repairman. ****ing thief. November 8 If one more smart bastard says ‘Hot enough for you today?’ I’m going to ****ing throttle him. ****ing heat! By the time I get to work, the car radiator is boiling over, my ****ing clothes are soaking ****ing wet and I smell like baked cat. ****ing place is the end of the Earth. November 9 Tried to run some errands after work, wore shorts, and sat on the black leather upholstery in my car. I thought my ****ing arse was on fire. I lost 2 layers of flesh, all the hair on the backs of my legs and off my ****ing arse. Now the car smells like burnt hair, fried arse and baked cat. ****. ****. ****. November 10 The Weather report might as well be a ****ing recording.. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny, Hot and ****ing sunny. It never ****ing changes! It’s been too hot to do anything for 2 ****ing months and the weatherman says it might really warm up next week. ****! November 15 Doesn’t it ever rain in this damn ****ing place? Water restrictions will be next, so my $5,000 worth of palms might just dry up and blow into the ****ing pool. The only things that thrive in this ****ing hell-hole are the ****ing flies. What I find interesting is, in the first video I provided, there was mention (by the Guardian) of Susie Green bringing hate crime charges against the journalist Caroline Farrow, because Farrow misgendered her daughter / son Jackie. In your copy, provided by the same newspaper dated 21st March 2019 (The Guardian) they added the words Mutilation, mutilating, castrating and child abuse, as supposedly said by Susie Green.........Question here is, why didn't the Guardian include those words, and accusations by Susie Green in the copy I posted approx 6 months prior............it doesn't make sense, something's not right. I sense there's more to this than meets the eye because Susie Green was talking to the BBC. Why, 6 months later did Susie Green add further accusations that have nothing to do with, or are linked with hate crime. Hate crime and Child Abuse are totally different laws, and crimes, and are not connected or linked in any way. Child abuse is a far more serious accusation than a hate crime. As reported by the Guardian in my copy, why didn't the police mention anything about child abuse accusations made by Susie Green then back in October 2018. Why, after approx 6 months did Susie Green decide to drop all charges, even though she then mentioned / claimed mutilation, mutilating, castrating and child abuse accusations were made by Caroline Farrow............again, something isn't making sense. I haven't seen the tweets, I doubt many have, but if Susie Green had copies of the tweet/s, she had evidence to substantiate her claims. I think The Guardian would've printed it/them, it would certainly give them a bigger story than they had originally. This is what Susie Green said according to the Guardian / BBC, Responding to the controversy over the case on Wednesday, Green said: “Every day, people misgender my daughter online, that wasn’t uncommon. Can you see the warning bells in her statement? she is well aware of people misgendering her daughter / son every day "ONLINE". So, if the mother knows this is happening every day, why is she allowing her daughter / son to go online every day and suffer the humiliation of being misgendered ...........that in itself is classed as child abuse cos she is regularly putting her daughter / son in a painful and emotional situation on a regular basis, which inturn, creates continual emotional and psychological pain for her daughter / son. The mother herself is responsible, and to blame for the emotional and psychological abuse shown towards her daughter / son, whether she realises it or not. A parent/s don't have the right to turn their son into a daughter, or a daughter into a son if the child is not of an age where they can understand, and/or make their own decisions. There are plenty of cases where parents have been psychologically and mentally affected to the point they couldn't have, or hadn't had a child of their preferred gender, so dress the child up, and teach the child to be of the opposite gender...........that is child abuse. A parent/s who dresses their child up, and teach their child to be of a certain gender, before the child is of an age to understand, and make their own decisions........is child abuse. All children go through female and male phases, it's part of growing up and finding out who, and what gender they are. Some kids grow out of it quicker than others, some take a little longer..........it's a case of slugs and snails, or sugar and spice. While it doesn't say how old Susie Greens daughter / son is, what category does Susie Green, and others like her, fit in.........Food for thought hey.

Susie Green, who is chief executive of the transgender children’s charity Mermaids and whose daughter Jackie is transgender, said that she had decided to withdraw the complaint against Caroline Farrow because of widespread reports that the dispute had only been about “misgendering”. “If I had continued my complaint then [Farrow] would have continued to have a platform to spread misinformation about what actually happened,” she told the BBC Two’s Victoria Derbyshire programme. “Being involved in an investigation would have meant that I couldn’t talk.”
