The national press are being utter ****s as usual. Only it's worse because this involves the anguish and terror of Libby's friends and relatives. The odious, uncaring gutter rags have just seen ''body somewhere near Hull = sensational story = extra hits/ increased sales. It sickens me. It really does. Like TC says the gender of the body hasn't even been reported. I hope and pray that it isn't Libby, but let's remember, it is somebody. RIP.

From HDM A body has been recovered from the Humber Estuary, police have confirmed. Humberside Police have reported the body was recovered on Wednesday, March 20, close to Grimsby Docks. A spokesman said that although the body has been recovered, it is still too early to determine an identity or confirm the gender of the person, although they will do so when they are able to. The spokesman said: "A body has been recovered from the Humber Estuary this afternoon, (Wednesday, 20 March), in close proximity to Grimsby Docks. "At this stage it is too early for any identification or confirmation of gender to be made. Further information will be released as soon as we are in a position that we are able to."
The worst of all the gutter press ****mongers have the headline: Police hunting missing student Libby Squire find a BODY in the Humber Estuary six weeks after the 21-year-old was last seen. That is written in a sensationalist style with no evidence at all. It is clearly designed to put in people's minds that they have found Libby. It's ****e, immoral, odious journalism. The editor of that paper should hang his head in shame.
If its the Daily Fail, nothing would surprise me coming out of the rag. if its the Hull Daily Fail, nothing would surprise me coming out of that haddock sheet.
It is now all over facebook that it is her, from a missing persons site, despite no police statement. they have now removed the post, DISGUSTING

Agreed Den. Without closure, families will retain hope of seeing their loved and lost ones for years. Forever. I expect we'll know soon enough.
The news said there are 3 missing persons files still open locally. I hope one family has closure and sympathy to the others that are still waiting.
The police force hunting for Libby Squire have found a body. That is reported. What is immoral or odious about that? Perhaps you would prefer papers like Pravda where things like air crashes, any disaster or one of the biggest football stadium disasters weren't reported and the country's citizens were unaware not of only what was happening in the rest of the world but their own?
It's completely misleading for a start, Humberside Police are actually hunting for several missing persons.
They are looking for Libby Squire and have found a body. Which is correct. Perhaps it could have said that Humberside Police who are looking for more than one person have found a body. Shoddy or lazy reporting maybe, but hardly odious and immoral.
according to the Mirror, confirmed as being a woman - the other 2 missing people are both male - whoever it is at least they can be laid to rest
Apparently the police have confirmed the body is a female. The family have been informed but no formal identification has been done as yet. Whoever it turns out to be it is awful. If it is Libby at least there’s ‘closure’ of sorts.
