Actually he didn't: remaining at the meeting is playing into their hands, because then the Dire Leader gets good PR for getting all the party leaders there (barring Nicola Sturgeon, Jonathan Bartley & Sian Berry...or Gavin Shuker, who is the person listed as the leader of Chuka's Chickens) while it also allows the Tories a degree of control of the Narrative because, should it go tits up, they can then point the finger at Vince Cable & Co

Corbyn walking out wasn't a good visual, but here's the point: his walking out killed the Tory attempts to control the Narrative dead, as instead the Narrative moved on to why the hell the TINGE were there in spite their not being a political party in any legal sense, and that was soon followed by the drip feed that the whole thing was a ruse so the Dire Leader could look like she was Doing Something when in reality she was only concerned with trying to push her twice-rejected deal yet again and was refusing to consider any other options - so while walking away got the usual FBPE mob tweeting furiously for five minutes and Rachel Riley wondering why she can hear paper shredders firing up in Countdown's contract department, it's not an own goal because the story's going to pivot right back to the Dire Leader clinging to her deal no matter how many times it gets voted down, with both Cable and Umunna playing along with her

    Dominic Grieve...

"The vast majority of the House of Commons thinks Theresa May's deal is not good. The prime minister has been seeking to close down every avenue of discussion, I will not be bullied by anybody in government into supporting something I think is going to do the country a great deal of harm."

    Hear, hear.

You say tomato, I say tomato.....
Either may be the right strategy, but he's been playing your version consistently and it's done him no good whatsoever.
    Maybe time to change tack.

Mays speech (if you can call it that) rightly being called out for its incendiary commentary about her fellow Parliamentarians: possibly sufficient to incite violence against them by the extreme Pro-Brexit elements/thugs.

She really is a feckin' disgrace!

That was the (barely) concealed subtext - "It's their fault, get after them."

If it wasn't that, what the **** was it? One last cry of"You bastards!" before the light goes out?

The Icelandics dig a big hole in the ground and put a shark in it. Then they all piss on it and cover it over. The amonia in the urine does a kind of Gravad Lax thing. I reckon that would do the trick....piss on her and leave her in a hole on some god forsaken island....works for me....<laugh>

I've signed it, 620,000 now. I am happy with either Revoke and Remain or leave with no deal. What I am unhappy with is May's Toxic Deal. We could become a colony of the EU until 23:59 31/12/2099
