I'm not sure how easily you opt in or opt out of them being able to pass on your details to ambulance chasers but it must be in their terms and conditions. I always tick/untick the boxes to opt out of marketing ****e, but I don't think this falls into that bracket? So suing them is not possible imo.
I was once pissed up before going to a test match at Old Trafford. The taxi stopped on Deansgate and we all got out. I opened the door right in front of a delivery cyclist. He went flying and endep up sprawled on the pavement. I wobbled past him shouting "You stupid ****". He wasn't too happy

After the woman driver had tail ended my car, she got out to exchange details with me, as she opened her door it took out a motorcyclist, who was catapulted to the other side of the carriageway, then hit by a lorry which splattered him like a fly dive bombing a windscreen. Then the woman feeling distraut, proceeded to cross the central reservation, to see if their was anything she could do to help, as she stepped into the outside lane, she was wiped out by an ambulance attending at speed to the scene. **** happens bro
