Before you wander off on a tangent, I'll direct you back to the point. The Yanks didn't come to Swansea to save the Club, they came here to milk the cash cow. Surely even you would agree with that?

Dai - Hedge Funds - particularly US Hedge Fund Managers - are not known for their benevolence. They are there to make money for themselves and for their backers/investors. Why would anyone buy a club if not to make some profit. I'm sure the Morgans did and any other person or persons did when they buy a club, The Americans have upgraded everything at the club and we have much better facilities today than most premiership clubs.....The biggest mistake was letting Jenkins and pearlman a free reign to run the playing side of things that have brought us to the situation we are in now and have they cashed in and ran away...NO they have not and have done the sensible option and got rid of players ripping the club off... They because of the two nuggets still have to pay half of the players wages out on loan. They are rich enough that they could have walked away but they never and they stayed to repair the club they have a passion for and in one season we are in better shape now than we were (and a long way to go yet) and the youngsters have done us proud on the pitch........Where would we be if they said sod this and cashed in and left us to it with all the debt and players only here for the wages ? Who in their right mind would buy a club like us ?.........Thank god they chose to stay and do something that needed to be done and not run away......Some on here dont know how lucky we are as the club could very easily have gone under....And where next the Welsh league maybe playing at St Helens....
So you now agree with PGF that they invested to make money/generate cash? Additionally, why would they sell now - they would realise a huge loss?
What have the Yanks upgraded at the Club? What passion do they show? They don’t even come to Swansea I note you finally admitted they came to milk the cash cow rather than the ridiculous notion you held that they came to save the Club Much of the debt at the Club has been caused by their mistakes.
Clever twat...Every Club owner want to make a profit or why buy the club They have turned around their other club DC United and that is their aim here.....They are not running away, They are sorting the mess out caused by others they trusted....We are so lucky that they never called it a day and left and let the club go under.....They are doing a grand job and showed their loyalty...If i was them i would have left and let the club go bust ....
So they didn’t step in to save the Club, they bought the Club to make money. Thanks for clarifying that.
