Why is Fresh Off the Boat consigned to some TV ghetto of a Ch5 subsidiary, while E4 is full of so much daytime crap like Melissa & Joey or Baby Daddy? What happened to the channel of Black-ish and Suburgatory? Constance Wu was in Crazy Rich Asians. Ray Wise was in Twin Peaks. Come on, TV people, it's hard enough to make a good sitcom! And those of us at home and not stuck in a corporate office ripping off pensioners of their savings deserve better. Partridge has been a mixed bag. Some real gutbuster jokes but some Partridgesque cringe moments that are getting tired and go on too long. The tech that won't work? It wasn't that funny in the first episode and it was just dead air second time round. But moments of the old magic make it worth it.
I watched the first episode and got bored of the "white people are so stupid" jokes in one episode I couldn't stomach a second episode.
Fob is on amazon. Half way through season 2 and really enjoying it. I don't watch none of that e4 crap except for brooklynn 99
Brooklyn is all on Netflix now. Other than current season airing in America. Found that got to the point I just dont have time or enjoy watching 'normal tv'
Yup, i actually watch brooklynn 99 on the latest releases via dl. I dont make time to sit around watching it . But its the only thing from c4 i do watch
Started watching After Life on Netflix which is Ricky Gervais new show. I'm not a fan of him since The Office and Extras but this is actually very good, it doesn't hit the poignant moments it aims for every time but overall it's well worth watching watching.
Tempted to see that, but I understand it focuses on the end of their career and is a bit sad. I loved them as a kid and don't know if I prefer to remember them as giving me so many laughs when I was a kid, or see them at the end of their career.
It does but I wouldn't call it sad, bittersweet is probably right, I thought it was a touching tribute to them
Triple Frontier on Netflix is fairly good. Well shot and well filmed. Characters themselves are a little annoying and frustrating though. Worth a watch
I'm atheist, but I often find he can be a bit preachy atheist in most things I've seen him in. Preachiness in anything annoys me, even if it's something I agree with. He's not doing his "preach the gospel of atheism" again in this is he?
I agree with that and he generally gets on my nerves but this show is a little different and very good.
