Thanks Dave. 10 gone, and the remaining 8 on Thursday. I suspect that some could have come out a couple of days ago as they were starting to disappear under new skin. At least the ones that irritated most have gone. Sleep well.
Morning all. A really beautiful start to the day with a clear blue sky, and lots of colourful blossom set against it. There is no wind at ground level, yet the vapour trails of passing aircraft are disappearing very quickly. I assume that the jet stream is quite strong at the higher level. Have a good day whatever you have planned.
Morning all, Hope you are all doing all right like. I have just seen that there is an international break. However, I think this is a good one for us. It means players can rest ahead of what is probably our most important run in in recent times. We could get to a Cup final and even qualify for Europe. There is a lot at state. I'd say more than previous run ins trying to stay up and the most since our promotion season. The team seem highly focused and the togetherness is there to see. The lack of injuries this season is also very refreshing. Apart from footballing matters all is fine in my Mexican bubble but the normal problems are apparent in society in general. However, head down and on with it. My mother is coming over in Easter and all is well at home. Spring is in full force here and that means that is is 12 at night and 32 at peak sun time. This is the hottest time of year starting before the rains arrive. See you all after the international break!
Morning all. A lovely warm Spring day is forecast. With a bit of luck I will soon be able to put the chain saw away as only a couple of hours of heating is required in the evenings now. The cowslips are creating colour along the sides of the roads, and in a week or two the purple orchids will be in flower. It is a super time of the year.
Morning all. It looks as if we are going to have another beautiful Spring day. I have been watching a small vole busy at work gathering together material for a nest. He/she seems to be setting up home behind a couple of very large stones. I haven't seen it since the Autumn, and wondered if the very large snake that also lives in the garden had feasted on it, but no, it is alive and well. Enjoy your day
I have only just come in, and a quick glance suggests that others might have been busy to. It often happens when Watford are not playing.
OFH It was not updating so in the end I had to refresh each page individually Seems ok now Technology
Rather strange, but from time to time the site does throw a curved ball, and does the unexpected. Glad it is back to normal now.
Morning all. Another lovely day ahead and with no football to interrupt the works, I hope to start getting on top of some jobs. The grass alongside the house and road has grown at a ridiculous rate this past week, and I think it will need the strimmer over it before the mower can do a decent job. The peas are up, but under cover to stop the birds picking them out. Just need to make sure that tender plants do not cook or dry out. Enjoy your day even if you do not intend to do any gardening.
