It says Salmonds claim of 300k per head was a gross overestimation and that we would be reliant on high oil prices to just stand still.

Secondly, in your article there's an estimation of Scotland's oil reserves to be 24bn barrels. So a gross under estimation that was being peddled during project fear because within 6 months of the referendum there was suddenly found vast oil reserves off the West coast.

Colour me shocked!

So Alex Salmond saying Scotland's oil was 300 000 per head of population was actually an under estimation.

His estimates were on high oil prices and that oil companies wouldn't expect to make any money from the oil they sold.

I did find myself smirking at Salmond but im not celebrating low oil prices, they are just a major obstacle to the Nationalists Dream and a reality.

Oil companies still take profits which Salmond negates to include in his 300k per head fantasy.
