We played pretty well against Southampton in the first half so should be starting to gel if we keep the same system. Beckford in for Nugent is very straightforward. It's our defence that really needs to improve because I thought it was woeful against Saints, even Konchesky and Pantsil, who are experienced and generally solid, were getting skinned no end. Mills and Bamba have not really forged a partnership yet, but with Tunchev on loan they are the best 2 centre backs we have. On their day they should be able to cope with any player in this league, let alone Barnsley. I think we'll win 1-0 with a goal in the second half. Beckford on his debut?
Looks about right to me. Would love a clean sheet (we really, really need to start keeping some) but head is saying 1-2 win for the Foxes.
I think Sven said Johnson is still not fit. Shame because I think he's probably the best midfielder in this league when fit. Would too go for the same team as So'ton but Beckford in for Nugent. I hope Sven sticks with the diamond formation because I think it's what has seen us play our best football so far and the players seem to be more comfortable in it. I think the defence, although weak against Southampton, should remained unchanged because it is our best defence and should be given time to settle and gel. Team has to be same as last 2 games except for the obvious. As for Johnson, doubt he will feature. read somewhere that sven wants to give him a game in the carling cup

442 is the best formation to play and I hope once Nugent is fit we have Nugent and Beckford up front in a 442
100% agree. We play 442 and always seem to score. Play 433 and we concede, even though it's supposed to be a more defensive formation! The old adage somes to mind.. The best form of defence is attack!

Hmmmm, is this going to be one of those seasons we play well against the good teams and poorly against the not so good? I cannot help but think how long the owners will give Sven after the start we've had, not that I want him sacked as who else is there! Let's just hope for a better second half.
