FA Cup winner’s odds: Man City clear favs - fair enough Brighton 16-1 - fair enough given SF oppo Wolves 4-1, WFC 9 or 10-1??? How come? Given City still around maybe our odds not too far off, but why so apart from Wolves? If we’re 9-1, they should be 8-1. Yet again, we are underestimated and fly under the radar.
Surely we should be about the same as Wolves? - I bet the odds for the actual game will be. Guess they will go by the fact Wolves have a good record against the top 6 but even they lost 3-0 at Man City and got a draw via a handball goal in the home game.
Odds depend on how much money is being put on them rather than their realistic chances. Hence in the last round Uniteds odds were very low despite the stats showing Wolves had a good chance.
Yes, odds move with the amount put on so the bookies manage their liabilities. It just seemed like 4-1 and 10-1 were the starting odds! I guess we’re just flying under the radar again in the eyes of the punters!
