Good old Mel Sutton or as us boys used to call him Sell Muton. I don't think he was a dirty player just used to get his timing wrong.
Also Paul Madeley Paul Reaney Billy Bremner Terry Hibbitt Terry Yorath I'm sure we could make another list of 6 too.
Johnny Giles and Peter Lorimer were my heroes then. How about Tommy Smith of Liverpool. A no prisoners kind of guy.
The interior light in my built in Miele microwave had packed in - couldn't see the soup boiling over. So I thought I'd get a replacement bulb and just change it - easy peasy? No, not on your life. Apparently a failed bulb is not a "user serviceable item" from the interior and I'd need an engineer service call - my fooking arse! The bulb cost was bad enough for a simple 25watt filament lamp, albeit with special mounts - £22 direct from Miele with free delivery. To be honest, it was even dearer online from independent parts suppliers. So I ordered it from them and fair play to them, it arrived the next day well packed on Parcelforce 24. Whipped out the micro from the wall cupboard, took off the casing, unclipped the failed bulb and replaced it with the new one. Refitted the micro and now I can see when my soup is ready without mopping out the interior. Job done - now will someone say something about football before I have to go out and repair the frigging garage roof!.....
Couple years ago I bought a microwave for my daughter to keep in the shed at the farm. I think it cost less than your bulbs Sparkey. Not been particularly bored on here as I've been spending more time on a salmon fishing forum I frequent. They've even got a 6 nations thread.
I once bought an oven from Guadalajara. My daughter wanted it for her dolls house. It was a micro mexican wave.
I certainly hope so. We don't want another top 6 club getting a bump from a managerial change just before they play us. (Sorry remote )
