Probably my most common dream and I hate it. Sometimes I'm being chased and run like I'm stuck in treacle. Also quite often have a bit where I have to turn a corner whilst running and just can't turn and end up going over a drop or into a wall, that tends to wake me up. I get quite a lot of dreams about home invasions too, which is probably why I got freaked out at the wife's comment of someone stood in the room. I watch too many crime dramas I I think.
I came back to my dorm room in Uni one night and as I walked in my roommate said "the P.E. teacher is looking for you", "what?" "The P.E. teacher is going to get you (my name)" "What are you talking about?" ... Silence... Looked over at room mate and he was asleep. He was clueless in the morning that we had had that discussion. My wife also talks in her sleep; only time I hear her curse. She has a potty mouth when sleeping. That's when she doesn't just scream in her sleep.
I used to have one when I was young and monsters lived in my bedroom so we couldn't go upstairs !! Really scary at the time
Scream? Haha blimey. Its really unnerving when people talk to you but they're not actually in conversation with you. I remember just looking at my mrs and she at me and talking back to her but she's not actually awake! So weird!
And he’s just wondered downstairs for the first time in weeks. Not overly distressed, just a bit confused. He was over tired this evening which is definitely a trigger. FFS.
Lucid dreams? where you can control your actions in your dream. Dont have them now but used to have them. Sleep parallysis is something else i used to get alot of too...its a mad experience...scary things can be seen.
Why do you wake up at the moment youre about to die in your dream? Coz your brain does not know 'what happens next' as youve never died so it cant picture the next stage
Yes, but specifically flying dreams. I get lucid dreams too where I know I'm dreaming and can control what happens. Always try and turn them to sex and then usually wake up
She does it at least once a month. It's not a loud scream... Almost a gasping scream. It's not something that would wake me, but if I'm already awake it's pretty creepy.
