    Lyle Taylor
    :1980_boogie_down:Lots of goals
    :emoticon-0172-mooni Too many cards

    Naby Sarr
    :1980_boogie_down:Playing well now
:emoticon-0172-mooni Wasn't much good earlier in the season

    Chris Solly
:1980_boogie_down:Played nearly every game, been OK most of the time
    :emoticon-0172-mooni Is fading now though

    Patrick Bauer
    :1980_boogie_down:Consistently good
:emoticon-0172-mooni Dull. And he's leaving soon.

Don't think anybody else is in with a shout really.
Phillips is doing well but missed a third of the season.
Cullen is classy but I don't think he's done enough over the whole season.
Same (only a bit less so) foir Bielik.
Reeves has had his moments but not enough of them.
    Aribo... Sorry, not enough.

YPOTY - Give it to Lapslie :emoticon-0171-star:

    Good thread @lardiman

I will vote for Naby Sarr.

He has morphed from accident prone donkey into a formidable and dominating centre half at this level. Not many players come back from being a laughing stock in the fan's eyes - he has Blocked loads of our supporters on Twitter - so well done to him for showing personality and character <applause>

Taylor has let his standards drop in recent weeks.

Bielik and Cullen have both been good loans.

Phillips and Aribo have had good seasons and will go on to have good careers, although neither with us.

Fosu, Pratley, Marshall, Parker & Vetekole have been useless. Reeves has been a big let down again. And Solly has seen his form dip alarmingly this season.

You need to have watched the players play before you can vote for them :emoticon-0148-yes:

I'd rather give it to one of our own, but couldn't vote against Josh Cullen. Consistently classy, too good for L1. Sarr and Phillips deserve credit for persevering in the face of knock-backs, but for me it's no contest, Cullen.

i think solly's always got to be in with a shout because he's home grown and aint gonna disappear like a few of the recent ones have.

he'll be the new SCP in time.

I am not at all sure that it is physically possible for Solly to do a Tunnel Jump without breaking down ?

not physically, but he'll have the same sort of appeal @Royston Vasey has for SCP. he'll be welcome back anytime, in whatever role he wants.

as long as it's not like keith peacocks - they roll him out when no one else is available. just have to wake him up and retrieve him from the vista lounge.

    POTY results last night -

    1. Lyle Taylor <applause>

    2. Naby Sarr <applause>

    3. Josh Cullen (he will have a very good career)

Young POTY - George Lapslie <applause>

Thank you to Lyle for his goals, and for his conduct in general, which has made him a popular figure at Charlton.

Well done to Naby Sarr for proving his doubters wrong. He had been outstanding this season.

Taylor deserves it. Apart from being our talisman he's carried the burden up front all season and capped it all with probably goal of the season. Well done young Naby for running him close.
