Quite good movie with a couple of excellent performances from the leads.

    Vice

Very good. Best Horror of the year so far.

    If Beale street could talk

Powerful drama with a great cast. Especially the ever brilliant Regina King.

One to watch with the missus. Not suitable for the racisty cùnts in here.

    WTF?

Those are the same movies we watched yesterday! Are you fuddy?

The performances of Steve Coogan and John C Reilly were brilliant.

As was Christian Bale in Vice.

Saw Captain Marvel at the weekend. Not bad but compared to the hype it was a little bit meh.

Could have been any bint in the main role, I didn't think Brie Larson was overwhelming but at least her performance wasn't cheesy (Brie, cheese HAHAHAHAHAHA!)
She looked ok in the booby white t-shirt but was a bit too contained in her super suit for my liking. It was a tad formulaic with the good guy turning out to be the bad guy, the bad guys turning out to be the misunderstood good guys etc and the whole "you've always had the power inside you" was a straight lift from the Wizard of Oz and territory Marvel has already stomped all over.

All in all it was a pleasant hour and a half just to be introduced to the character that is meant to kick Thanos' arse in the next Avengers movie.

6.5 out of 10 for this citizen of C35.

    Love Death and Robots (Netflix)

Anthology of short animated Sci Fi movies between 10 and 20 minutes long. Watched 6 so far, all very good, all very different.

    Tarantino: 20 years in film

Documentary covering the years from Reservoir dogs to Inglorious basterds. Excellent interviews with the likes of Tim Roth, Sam Jackson, Robert Rodriguez, Eli Roth, John Travolta and Pam Grier. Pure fan boy stuff so great.

I accept I have an obsession about Germany and all things German:emoticon-0140-rofl: however Mr Waltz, who was born in Austria, has appeared in two of Tarantino's fillums. I therefore considered my question fairly reasonable.:emoticon-0140-rofl:
