Newcastle fan in peace Just like to say I think it's great that Tevez is no longer your captain and I find him to be a very self involved and frustrating figure. He's undoubtedly talented and has been your talisman in recent years but I think he should be left to rot in the reserves for a long time. He's constantly giving it all this about not returning to Manchester, there not being enough restaurants, wanting to be closer to his family (Corinthians and Inter Milan are in Brazil and Italy so tell me how that works?), saying he wants to retire and so on (for seemingly ever). The money's he's on you'd have thought he could at least be committed to the Man city cause. Fact is now he's not the star of the show and Man city have got better players. Dzeko and Aguero are world class strikers and after the start you guys have had you have to wonder if he's even needed. He's made his bed and should be forced to lie in it. Sorry, just fancied a Tevez rant but I imagine my opinion is shared by a lot of you. I'm one of those anyone but United crowd so I want you to win the title best of luck. Oh and don't listen to (I'm sure you don't anyway) the haters who say you've bought the league. It's jealousy, anyone would want some oil baron to pump billions into thier club and make it successful. Man U and Chelsea and even Blackburn have bought the title in the past.
You are welcome to have a rant it makes a change from reading "you ****ers are ruining football buying your way to the top" I agree Tevez has not done himself any favours having said that he has always said he will not finish his career here and i think he genuinely missed his family, kissing his shin pad (daughters name written on it) every time he scored was a genuine show of emotion. To answer your question "moving to Corinthians and Inter Milan are in Brazil and Italy so tell me how that works" is easy his family didn't want to move here and you can understand why, if he were to move to another Country they were probably more likely to join him. They are now here so he should be happy and I hope he has learned his lesson and RM now lets him back into the team even if it is from the bench.
We have a important game Wednesday so he may rest Aguero, and as he has stripped him of the captaincy he may give him a run.
He starts today - Hart, Richards, Kompany (c), Lescott, Clichy, Yaya, Milner, A. Johnson, Silva, Aguero, Tevez Subs - Kolo, Dzeko, Balotelli, Zabaleta, Razak, Pantilimon, Nasri
As i said he said he wouldn't finish his career here and he got us where we are today, i will thank him the day he leaves for the effort he puts in in every game and the goals he scored to help us get to the CL.
no getting away from the fact he's top drawer and been an important factor in helping you where you are now but there is also no getting away from the fact he's the biggest mercenary in football
You say he is the biggest well i guess that all depends on how you gauge it, were you gutted when Carroll didn't put up a fight and say he wanted to stay at the club he loved ? I bet he couldn't believe his luck when they offered £20 million more than he was worth, having said that he must be depreciating faster than a new car at the moment.
Just remind us how much you have spent this season to get back into the CL, £20 million too much for a one trick pony for a start. Good old bellers, i was gutted when i foound out he had gone to you lot -
Hatem as you know Newcastle are my Wife and Lads team so good luck for Monday, will be nice to see the dippers down in sixth. .
RushFowlerGerrard tell me didn't Liverpool do the same buy their way to those titles they won all those years ago. When each season they bought 3 or 4 players. Pot Kettle Black readly spring to mind.
Haha, nice one Do us a favour then and go easy on us when we play Man City this season! I'm already expecting absolutely nothing from our games The thought of Aguero Dzeko Nasri and Silva running at our defence is a little bit scary!
