Took my son and 9 of his mates to bowling, arcades and burgers today (birthday treat for him). Stressful and expensive. Tired and thirsty now.
Weather has been fantastic 28c today. It’s gonna change tomorrow though. Back down to around 20c - more normal for this time of year.
Hope you have a fantastic time mate. My boy, who I adore beyond words, is 13 tomorrow. I can’t quite believe he’s going to be a teenager and am already dreading the day he leaves home. I said to my missus when they were 6 and 4 that I’d happily stop the clock right there. Didn’t happen.
Yeah a family member has just bought a property out there so it's somewhere I can take him again n again as well on the cheap. Need to brush up on my Spanish. @NSIS what are the trains like there mate?
Take him to Barca so he can say he’s seen Messi, even if he can’t remember it. Surprisingly easy to get tickets to watch the GOAT.
What sort of area are you in? I'm heading nearish to Alicante. Wouldn't mind a trip to Valencia at some point though probably not this time.
I always drive when I go to Alicante. Nice city, good beaches there too. Getting a train should be easy enough. Find out where your nearest station is. They’re not as numerous as they are in the UK.
We have a place in Valencia although not been for a few years. It’s a beautiful city and your boy would love it. Nice beaches, there’s a sea world thingy and the zoo is amazing. The local govt did a spectacular job of making the place a great venue for tourists, F1 and sailing while bankrupting the city in the process. Def worth a visit.
I spent some time near Alicante. Some ****hole called Fengerola (sp?).... I was quite naughty back then though and created a crime spree, bumping into 4 Irishman on the run in the London Bar was a big ****ing mistake. Fun times... sort of!
You must have been out of it.. The only Fuengirola I know of is on the Costa Del Sol...about 600kms from Alicante!...
