I think the Traffordites are mixing consistency up with inconsistency. Rooney is erratic. He's in a rich vein, but that won't last the entire season, not by a long way. He has not performed consistently over an entire season ever. He's a ''fits and starts'' player, He will be good for a while, dreadful for a spell and then good for a while and then dreadful. Thats how he is. Now this does not in any way make someone world class. World class players have a 75-85% consistency level.

 

Liverpool fans crack me up. Blackburn rovers have won a Premier league title, you haven't in over 20 years, your still a big club though

 

I don't know that, but i do know he ain't in the same league as a Villa, Messi, Ronaldo, Higuain, or Aguero

 

The scariest thing for me is the fact that Messi is only 24!! Imagine if he isn't even at his peak yet, that would be an incredibly scary, seeing as no one can match him even at his present level. He'll definitely surpass Maradona in my eyes if he improves further.

I was asking a question. People are prepared to call Suarez world class after scoring a bucket load in Holland and performing well in the World Cup and Copa America yet Forlan has won the European Golden boot twice while in La Liga and performed much better than Suarez did at the World Cup especially and people aren't calling him World Class.
