Not this time gaffer. It was a weird one. Corner came in to the near post, bodies on the ground, ball scooped off the line by Bart but blocked by bodies on the way out and it was somehow scrambled over the line. It wasn't one of the glaring mistake goals that we've been conceding lately though.
We were pretty good for the first 20 minutes or so. Closing down quickly, high defensive line and really pinning Forest in their own half. We got a bit more ragged as the half wore on and Forest started to find a rhythm. The goal was unlucky and scrappy. We played some good stuff and it was an enjoyable half of football.
Wow, that would've been a great goal. Fantastic skill from Judge, poor header from Nolan, but wow, that was great!
My, my, Bishop is just as good in the tackle as he is carrying the ball. A different player to Dozzell. Andre is a passer, Bish is a ball carrier but he has a great tackle too.
Bishop has certainly improved defensively, seems to have bulked up a little bit and become a bit more focused on his football. Good to see he’s enjoying a run in the team without injury. Hopefully he’ll start adding more goals and assists to his game, and then he’d become a reliable key player for us.
A good goal disallowed because the ref hadn't blown the whistle yet. That was a really good free kick that deserved a goal
I find all this very encouraging. Everyone is actually enjoying their football, us fans too! God, when did we last say that? Bring on season 2019/!20
Best football I've seen for a few years, we just need a consistent striker to finish these moves off.
