Cheers. It was worrying to begin with but then became part of our daily routine! Turns out it's not that uncommon.
The wife has weird dreams. Once she woke me by asking why I was stood in the corner. Obviously I wasn't so I shat a brick. Similarly recently she woke up and said "Is there a little person here?". I just told her to go to sleep. She said "I saw him. The one with a cartoon body". She regularly jumps out of bed and pulls the sheets off thinking they're infested with something or other, or the floor is. She always says funny things too but I forget them by the time I wake up. She has no recollection of them at all.
He'll grow out of that, I'm sure; with any luck he already has. Lots of kids go through an intense nightmare stage, often at around 5-7 years old. Must be quite upsetting for everyone though.
I have aphantasia so I always know when my dreams are just dreams which prevents dreams from ever freaking me out. Some of my dreams have surprisingly deep plots for dreams and I wake up thinking... That was cool, that would make a great novel... But then I forget the whole thing five minutes after waking.
Struggling to remember any dream I've ever had tbh. I remember them when I wake up but withing 10 minutes or something they are gone forever. Only one I can roughly recall is one where I think theres loads of people in my room standing over me and watching me sleep, no idea why or what the context of it is. Probably a bit of that sleep paralysis or whatever it's called
Sounds trippy. I'm pretty sure I had some mild form of psychosis for a while so that dream may have been around that time
I get that sometimes, when I know I'm in a dream. My first thought is to turn it into sex and then I just fall back into random dream land and wake up gutted that it didn't turn out how I'd hoped
Anybody here have flying dreams ? I get them occasionally. They are brilliant. Basically I 'swim' myself up to the height I want and then swoop and glide. Best dreams. Other than the saucy ones of course.
Yeah, I meant 'fair enough' I used to have dreams as a teenager about hacking my mates to death with bread knife. I had no ****ing clue where they came from. I loved my mates and had no problems with them or anything else going on in my life that might cause that. Thankfully they passed, was ****ing terrifying at the time though.
