Meowth, Think things are a bit different up north fella, they tend to be a bit harder, not that Im saying that us Southerners are soft, and anyone suggesting we are will feel Ellandback's wrath GGGGGGRRRRRrrrrrrrrr.....
Taken from The Daily Mail: Craig Levein v Graeme Hogg (Hearts, 1994) Levein didn't take too kindly to Hogg's criticism of him during pre-season friendly against Raith. Levein broke Hogg's nose, a brawl ensued and both players were given their marching orders - Hogg while he was on a stretcher. The pair received lengthy bans - 14 games for Levein and 10 for Hogg. Levein may come across as mild mannered educated individual, but underneath he's as hard as anyone. Happy to argue with you and then thump you when he's had enough.
Elland, Don't know about Dixon, but Danny Mills was a right back! Anyway, Mills would be my right back in the Hard Team. Ian Harte was our left back at that time, and for all that he was, he wasn't a hard man.
losin the plot here Boab, i'm sooooo bored, sat at my desk at work, and barely seen a customer all day, of course both Mills and Dixon were right backs, agree, I'd go for Mills too, what about centre backs Martin Keown, Razor Ruddock, Nel Blake, Norman Hunter
There was a player in Scotland (well known to Scots) who played for quite a few clubs, but was well known for his time(s) at Partick Thistle and I can tell you he was a thug, technically brilliant and could score goals from anywhere, but on the field he kicked you, he shouted abuse at you, he did many other awful things on the pitch just to wind you up and how he spoke to the referee had to be heard to be believed. Stand up Chic Charnley, what a man. You may have seen Charnley play in the masters for Celtic, although he never actually signed for them, he is a massive Celtic fan and has been allowed to play for them in testimonials and masters tournaments. If you played in the same team as Charnley, you knew it, he never stopped talking and demanding more from his team mates. Centre Back: I need to go for Partick Viera. Leeds connection hardman: Kenny Burns (Midfield) Others: Roy Keane (hate the prick, but what a hardman he was) Jack Charlton ("I was never on the field to enjoy the game, it was a job") Paul Reaney (According to George Best, the hardest player he ever played against)
Good call with Ruddock - another legend - as for Hurlock - he was "The Daddy" up in Scotland - all the kilt wearers were scared of him <cheer>
Well that's the biggest pile of crap I've read today, he was to hardman in Scotland, what Graham LeSaux was to being a Sun Newspaper reader! I watched Hurlock deliberately get sent off playing for Rangers against Celtic, so that he could get off the pitch and away from the stadium, as there was a few players on the pitch after him. He is/was a big girls blouse and will always be known for that in Glasgow.
Ruddock was recently on celebrity wipeout, he was slower then Ian Harte and twice the size of Robinson, who we let go last season. I'd have to say Julion Dicks over LeSaux
Well then you are correct. Perhaps it's the Scottish psyche, although I have no idea where it comes from!
Only a Celtic fan would slate Hurlock - he was everything they wanted to be,brave and fearless - the fenian's were and still are **** scared of him. Remeber a story TH told me about when he first went up there. He popped into a Glasgow nightclub one night against the advice of some team-mates as it was a Celtic club. Hurlock didn't give a **** as he didn't believe in all that religious bollox they claim to care about up there and in he went. A few of Celtics top bhoys were in there and took it very badly that he was in there - needless to say, they soon left with their tails between there legs - minus what teeth they had left. Terry being a typical East London lad was no match for any Glaswegian bottle job - they all feared him and he was the King up there (and still is)
Well for a start I'm not a Rangers or Celtic fan and the last time I looked I was a member of the Church of Scotland (not that this should matter one bit). Your a prick and it now shows, people like you should be removed from this world, to live in your wee bigoted world.
The truth as you see it is totally rubbish and I'm afraid your pal Hurlock has been spinning you porky pies. I would suggest he enjoyed male company and that this was well known around the football players in the city. You live in your wee world, but the truth is, Hurlock like a load of London people, appear to fight their true sexuality and due to this try the talk the talk stuff but the reality is they can't walk the walk.
If you can't handle the banter maybe you should refrain from commenting - I think throwing in the childish insults proves who the real prick is Bigfatgob <-----------------
Backing down now, what a surprise. Your banter isn't funny, it's fecking pathetic. **** off you bigot and get what you will eventually deserve.
