Was on the Jim White show and said we have asked Wembley for more tickets as we have sold out and, due to interest, could have sold in excess of 70000 tickets!

Where's the Oik when you need him!!

I wonder where the other 10k tickets are, surely there ain’t 10k corporates for this tournament?

Be a disgrace if there’s empty seats not taken up by sponsors.

So, where's the 10,000 tickets that Portsmouth haven't sold???
Another botched ticket allocation by the FA.
My mind goes back to the FA Cup semi final in 2005, seeing the top tier of the Milwall end empty coz they couldn't sell their tickets

Portsmouth said they had sold all of those. 90,000 for a stadium like wembley was always way too small should have been 120,000 capacity at least. We could have filled it in the Billy smith fish fingers trophy final.

If it's an excuse for a Wembley trip, it doesn't seem to make any difference what the competition is as far as our Fans are concerned.

They just want to be there and enjoy the day, come hell or high water and whatever the result.

I reckon that they could fill Wembley on their own and still have left overs moaning about the allocation.:emoticon-0140-rofl:
