Well at least one of them is going to drop points on Saturday. Last season fans were crying out for free flowing attacking football, well they've got it. They"re just going to have to accept the occasional defensive error. Positive thing is the team is so young it's only going to get better.

Title still ours to give away.

Yes we were a little second best at times but are scoring regularly - remember this used to be problem for us for a long time. The difference seems to be about confidence. Not that long ago we would shrink behind the ball and invite whoever them was onto us in no uncertain manner. This used to have us all biting our finger nails down to elbows. Given this if we are going to give goals away I would rather they were errors and fluffs than the result of sustained telling pressure. This signals we control games more than we used to - and as some said it is just a question getting better at this!

The interplay leading up to our third goal was amazing - Buendia's acrobatic flip to Pukki, whose back heel anticipated Buendia running behind him to slot it between Marshall's legs into the net. Farkeball at it's best. Absolutely brilliant.

On the down side, both their goals were scored in a yawning gap between our CBs. The zones were marked but the scorers weren't. If we do go up that will be exploited in the PL.

    Do what?? :emoticon-0112-wonde
Pukki's first touch on that flick took him away from goal and was too heavy and totally crap - credit to him that he had the presence of mind to follow an audacious flick with an equally audacious backheel.
Emi's flick was meant to be a pass into Pukki's path for him to shoot / score, imho.

Lewis had his best game for a while. Agree with the above comments.

    Max was incredible too, again.

    Emi was unplayable again.

Hernandez was always the outlet to relieve some tension, he did really well getting us from our half to their box. They were scared stiff of his pace and directness.

Some of the last ditch tackles were an absolute joy. Zimbo, Trybull and Max slide tackles stand out in my mind.

Shame the atmosphere was a bit flat and tense through the game again. when all the money and effort goes into this thing of beauty!

    Stunning!

I honestly believe that Buendia is going to end up playing for a top top club, either here in England or perhaps Spain/Italy. Here's hoping we can go up, keep him for at least one more season, and, if we have to sell (which sadly we probably will), we make absolute megamoney for him.

I’d love to see him terrorising PL defences wearing NCFC colours and goodness knows what he might be worth now. I’m sure many PL clubs are scouting him along with – Aarons, Lewis, Godfrey and last but not least Pukki.
Out of that list, Pukki was free, Bendy cost us £1.5M, Godfrey was approx £250K and did we sign both Aarons and Lewis from Luton several years ago??

In terms of capability vs likely transfer cost, I think you'd have to add Klose, Zimmermann, Stiepermann, Vrancic and Leitner to that list, JMF.
I saw Leeds fans on twitter bleating about injuries - but Norwich have had their fair share - and then some more, but the thing about Farke-ball is the player who deps normally fits in seamlessly. Decent cover in virtually every position, (like it should be)
Squad strength is the topic, not injuries <ok>

Yes, you're right Cromer and I think the only missing names are TC, McLean and Krul.
I quite like Mclean, but he doesn't offer anything nearly as much as Leitner/Vrancic; but DF seems intent on keeping with the same starting 11 whenever he can.

If we go up, Buendia would stay. Unless Webber want to cash in on a MASSIVE offer.

Go up, offers around 15-20 million I recon we would reject. And he'd be really happy to play for us and Daniel in the Premiership.

Don't go up, I think we will have to cash in on him. But I still think we would push for Maddison Price range.

And that's not a bad thing. Business wise.

It would be bad in losing such a player. But how many Championship clubs can sell players for 12M, 20M regularly. When they have spent so little/got them from the academy. Even if we didn't go up and sold Emi for 15-20M.

Incredible work from Webber and the scouts and coaches again.

I now have belief, they could find another Madders/Emi.

Indeed FML and I'd love to know who they are currently scouting in readiness for next season, whichever league we're in.
I was slightly positive at the start of the season despite all the doom and gloom re selling both JMs who between them scored most of our goals last season.
Who in their widest reams would have thought that we will most likely score TWICE as many goals this season????

Apparently they have a Premiership list, and an Championship list. I'd guess they have some players who are on both.

Those would be the Buendia type finds I think.
