Its a big if, but lets say Nando's poor form continues at Chelski, until Jan or next summer

How would you feel about buying Torres back.Would it be a definite no no,or would say if Liverpool bought him back for say £10-15m ,could you accept it

Or is it a case of itll nevber happen anyway

Personally , for the figure I mentioned, I would. And to be fair, at the moment at least he doesnt seem to be remotely the same player without Stevie G feedin him,hes even struggled for Spain with players as near perfect as Iniesta and Xavi feedin him for the last 2/3 years .Perhaps hes another Owen, finished by 25.

Yes. In a shot. The same way I'd slag Jessica Alba off if she cheated on me but immediately accept her back if she came crawling back to me. Ahh I love imagination land...

No. Yes we all dreamed of a Torres - Suarez partnership and yes he was a top player for us, an idol for many and our star signing. But as Suarez has proved, he is not irreplaceable. He is on his best days amongst the best in the world, top 3, but on most days he's been quite poor for the past 2 years. Body language, goal droughts and sulkiness permeated the air around him for the last year and a half of his time at our club. He left on a sour note, dismissing our claims of being a top club, throwing away the badge and the memories (against Real, United, Chelsea, Arsenal) for a trophy, any trophy, that he so desperately wanted.

Well that's fine, him being a footballer and all, I realize memories don't feed a family or make a name for oneself, but his unwillingness to commit himself to the Liverpool Way and the rebuilding of the squad is the only impression he has left on me. He didn't repay the fans (who paid his fat contract) for their support, he didn't repay the club (for their boost in his career), while the club were trying so hard to pay HIM back. We signed Suarez. Is that not what he asked us to do? Reina, Enrique, Agger, Gerrard, Suarez would have played behind him. How is that not ambitious? No. He chose the ready made team that bought (or tried to) success over the club that made him who he is today. Now where is he? Chelsea have taken a step backward, we have taken two steps forward. They are still ahead of us but for how long? He's shown for two years that he's not quite the player we had once had. His return would accept the players that DID stay. It would keep the deserving out of the squad or require a change of tactics and require time for his adaptation. None of these tell me he can score.

In short I suppose I have one thing to add, mercenaries can and should leave our club but mercenaries should never be recruited to join our club. By leaving he has shown he isn't up to our standard. He isn't a loyal, dedicated player anymore. We don't need him, which is fine because he said he doesn't need us.

Good question and one I find really quite hard to answer. Would I love the Torres of two years ago back...yes I would but having shown his true colours now I think it's fair to say the answer would have to be no. Torres has made his bed now he has to lie in it. I think the fact that Bellamy looks like potentially a better buy than Torres pretty much sums up how the mighty has fallen <ok>

If he came back we would have to accept him and get behind him, but not everyone will. I would take a lot of comfort if he did so and started scoring for fun again, but would that happen?

He said he one of the reasons he wanted to join Chelsea was because he felt left out in the Spain squad because he was the only one not winning any honours, now he is left out of the Spain squad all together.

    No.
Not after his ''Chelsea are a bigger club than Liverpool'' comment. Okay he may be a bit uneducated, but that doesn't matter. There is one thing that proves how bigger a club Liverpool are than Chelsea. In America, the people know who Liverpool are, they think Chelsea is a girls name.

No and for Kenny no, why on earth, it is nothing to do with why he left, it is to do with what he offers, always hoping that he would find the form of his first year, Spain after Chelsea though I am sure he is getting used to the mega bucks so maybe City?

No way! There is a big mental problem with regards to his injuries. We will never see the Torres of the first season at Liverpool again.

The way he left certainly leaves a sour taste in many liverpool fans mouths but im probably going against the grain be saying id have him back. Not as a first choice striker though, that way he would have to accept humility and prove that he can be a top player.Lets be honest...him banging in the goals would certainly change the opinion of the fans who slated him for his move.We have to remember that indirectly his greed changed the way we play and brought in two different players(albeit one is performing unbelieveably - suarez).

I dont see him being at chelsea next season if he continues his poor form, thinking someone may throw a cheeky bid in for him come january window. We still have only 3 strikers at our disposal(4 if we include kuyt).

    No.
He's lost it. He might get it back, of course, but £10m is still a lot of money to risk on a player who may well be burnt out.
Anyway, we're playing well without him, and he only fits a system that is built around him. To accommodate him we would have to alter a system that is looking really positive at the moment.

Craig Bellamy came back because he never once tarnished the statements he made about his love for the club, and because his form since leaving has still been great. He's also popular with the other lads. He also has the drive to bring out the best in other players around him.

Torres did tarnish his apparent love for the club, and his form since leaving has been terrible. He is much less popoular with the squad (seemingly). He sulks and does not bring the best out of his team mates, he relies on them to bring the best out of him.

These two different scenarios send out a message that Liverpool will love you and give you a home, as long as you follow the Liverpool way. If you don't then you will be replaced, you won't be missed, and you will never get such a great opportunity again.

Torres has shown me nothing to think he'd even be worth £10mil since moving, and on current form i wouldn't swap him for any of our current options. He showed bad judgement in leaving, and if there's one thing that's been great since FSG took over, it's that everybody at the club has shown great judgement in everything they've done. We're building not just a team and a club, but an ethos. Many players will come to know and love that ethos, Torres has missed the boat.

    BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh that's so funny, have Torres back, god you made me laugh, let's get Michael Owen back while we're at it.

Don't ask stupid questions, we were right to flog him when we did, you must have the biggest rose tinted specs if you think that he'll ever get his form back in this country. We got the best out of him, and threw away the empty husk, yet because he isn't dead, you think it's somehow a good idea to waste even 50p on him? Go get your head felt lad, you're brain's gone soft.
