I love how you lot argue, even in victory. For the record, I TOLD the sausage eaters to beware of Mane and VvD. I did also mention Salah and I count his pass for Mane’s 2nd as a goal so 3/3 I also said that that Polish fella up top had no joy out of our 4th choice CB and a midfielder as our back two so with VvD back, he didn’t have a chance. I also suggested that we’d probably help them with an own goal because our coach didn’t want to embarrass his compatriots. #prophet Ok, so the last sentence isn’t actually true but it should be
Firmino's touch wasn't great (he wasn't the only one) but we won that game largely by preventing Bayern from playing the way they wanted to - and he was a major part of that. He does it almost every game, but it often goes unnoticed when the positive side of his play isn't coming off.
On a side note, what the fu<k was Robertson thinking fouling them late on when the game was won and it wasn't even a dangerous situation. Cards got wiped after last night too.
stupid. it was barely a as well. we put origi on and fabinho on early. had we the option to sub him on 89mins? (obviously hindsight etc etc but he was only man on yellow) I can't recall so will look up report
ah yeah... we put lallana on for milner on 87mins. could have chosen robertson i suppose but that'd be oushing our luck seeing lovren was only defensive sub.
Our reserves would smash any team left in the CL, with the obvious exception of Man Utd reserves who are apparently more powerful than anyone, even the Man Utd first XI
dear oh dear mingolet Milner Matip lovren moreno Keita Henderson lallana shaqiri sturridge origi would smash... Barca, juve or atletico... hilarious.
Thought I was the only one that thought that as it seemed to go unspoken and when I mentioned it nothing more was said Just figured I was imagining it lmao For all those who say he dives - the issue was he didn’t go down I did expect VAR to look at that but it didn’t ?
