Generally mid-week matches are a pia for me and due to work commitments result in an evening in the (distinctly average) Dorset or less than average Ibis. For which I had to pay £209 yesterday. Nonetheless, I do not recall missing a home game for years despite the mid week living conditions and costs I might suffer for my hoops addiction.

Anyway, after last night I have made what is actually an easy decision. I do not need to waste time, effort, money and suffer mild hypothermia to watch an abject group of apathetic, talentless blokes lump the ball about completely randomly for an hour and a half.

I could easily rant about the inability of the team to distinguish between blue and white hoops and what looked like a DHL uniform worn by Rotherham. That Eze looks to me that he has been smoking Ganja all day and really doesn’t actually know where he is, let alone why he is there and what he should do. Wells, can’t hit an open goal from 8 yards. These two game attendees were far from the only ones guilty though.

There was nothing last night to give even a semblance of hope for the future. We were as pi55poor a team last night as I have ever seen. Being a QPR supporter for 40 odd years, I can say that I’ve seen more than my fair share of 5hit too.

Despite this rant, I am actually beginning not to care anymore. I cannot see any reason to bother going again this season and may save myself the £1k or so on next years’ season tickets.

Me and the lad, who's at Uni were watching and talking via WhatsApp as usual and we both said that we just can't be arsed to care anymore. We both started watching Liverpool instead.

Exactly the same for us. My lad came home from football practice. We were so disappointed with the Sky QPR match, we turned over to BT sport for the Liverpool game.

Someone needs to get this post in front of the owners and management team ASAP. They need to give us at least some hope there is a plan for the future before we stump up for another year of this level of tosh. And I'm a season ticket holder of 55 years!

I travel in from the Dorset/Devon coast and frankly the pre-match pints are the highlight of the day. Probably my last game this season was Saturday, but who knows what next season brings. I'll be there

The mistake this season, like last season...is preparing for next season before this one is complete.

I was pleased to see this. Good that he's not hiding, or trying to put any positive spin on things.

I too have had enough (and 45 years of ups and mostly downs). No one can be blamed for not going last night especially after SMs comments about making sure we didn't lose to 10 men Saturday really pissed me off!!. Like most have said, there did not seem any game plan whatsoever throughout the game...…..I have said Since the New Year that I saw problems in our game (apart from Leeds for some reason!!)

The one situation that found me screaming at the tv and captures everything wrong atm was when we had a throw near their corner flag in the 1st half and a bit of momentum it took Furlong about 2 mins to throw the effing ball and BFG to lumber up to their penalty area. No intensity, passion, desire and effing obvious what we were doing even though they had the tallest man on the pitch marking him!!…..so slow it was painful. 1 nil up in last mins maybe but not when your 0-0 with a team in bottom three and imo should be going for it...…..the whole game was disgraceful..

On that performance we WILL go down...so how about sacking him to get momentum like others do just to stay up....as I think he has lost it and possibly the dressing room.

Saw the result this morning and really get the feeling we've lost our way. How we can go from the perfomance against Leeds to the last two in such a short time? The negativity running through these is a serious worry, we should be having a go against teams that are struggling as well yet we play safe and five points have been lost that would virtually have kept us up.

I've noticed looking at Schteeve's record that he often starts well and makes an impact but gradually loses it and he ends up making an exit, deja-vu?...

I didn't see the game, or hear any commentary - however I was stuck in traffic jams and got back to Dorset 10.30. It would appear that looking a break lights om the car in front was more entertainment (although it didn't feel like it at the time).

I think Amit's tweet, with its rather bleak honesty, demonstrates they know all they need to know.

Immense pressure from FFP, falling attendance figures and dire footie.

We, the fans, stop going because it is ugly to watch which in turn limits what they can spend etc. Nasty vicious cycle. WE need that new stadium big time.

I've renewed ST for next year though if I'm honest that is partly due to my first at reduced rate for being 60. However it's also because this is MY team and I will support through the rough and the smooth. What choice do we have?

The rest of the season is a worry. We usually lose to Hull away and pretty much a banker to lose at Norwich. Millwall and Derby away - both hard and last game away at Hilsborough unlikely to bring much joy.

So we're looking for points from home games from Bolton, Swans, Blackburn (Friday night on Sky!) and Forest. No problem there then!

Let's hope things improve with the return of injured players.

On a brighter note, visiting family in Perth so enjoying a very pleasant and balmy morning recovering from jet-lag.

    COYRss!

Many thanks friend for your honest assessment and openiness. I appreciate how you have describe our current plight and truly hope you are not scarred for life by what must be a mockery to past players giving their all in the name of QPR.

As a distant but also a long term sufferer of everything blue & white, l offer no answers for our teams' complete lack of effort nor can l find the right words of wisdom for the remaining games of the season.

I could find solace in my gin bottle but know this won't solve the problem...... but by fcuk it will ease my nerves until the next match.

    Thank you once again.

Dreadful football Wednesday and resolving feeling that this now natural position in the Championship

Still overall this season there has been some brilliant football played by Rangers

Oxbox to remain until he has got it right and slowybuild from there ... I can’t blame him any longer as I thought we would be well adrift by now

We are expecting too much each time but at least we are still in with a chance

We are expecting too much DT, Christ I would expect something a lot better than what I witnessed Wednesday, it was diabolical & felt like leaving after they scored the first one but didn’t
