I just worry and am pessimistic But I loved tonight Beer has been swilled - not by me like - and fun has been had by all Still think Matip looked nervy till we were two up I also thought Mo was really good apart from the final decision Thought overall it was a very professional performance in the 2nd half and what was pleasing is it appeared the second half was how the gaffs wants us to play Let’s hope this carries into league on Sunday too Ps don’t go frank
Mines not a nerve thing It’s that I’m one monumental jinx thing lmao Only way we win the league is I buy a city top Lol I reckon Spurs gonna win the CL
I never find you overly critical, more worse case scenario. I know where it comes from though, how many times we've come close and been undone, you become terrified to show a bit of optamisim for fear it going tits up. On the other hand it's why it's so good when we win, it's never easy, I can't think of another team that has overcome the odds so many times in recent years. If we win the league, I fully expect to win the champions League as well. We never do things by half.
Pretty much nail on the head Espeacially the first line lmao Like that at work too And in the band lmao I am not allowed to talk to public. Lol
We smashed Bayern at their ground, they looked beaten well before the whistle as we continued to threaten and make it embarrassing.
It was easy, wasn’t it? I’m disappointed the aggregate score wasn’t higher! But anyways, this is our statement win of 2019! Much needed and hopefully we can build on it.
Liverpool news: ‘It’s a fantastic sign’ - Ferdinand singles out big positive for Klopp LIVERPOOL were not at their best against Bayern Munich on Wednesday - and that is a fantastic sign for Jurgen Klopp’s side. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...news-Jurgen-Klopp-Rio-Ferdinand-Bayern-Munich
I think we all should admit he is right. we were not very good. my view is game went largely as I expected. the first chance went in and thst defined what happened thereafter thank God. we were sitting deep and isolating the front players and knocking it long at them.
Was filled with dread when I first saw the selection for midfield.....(them 3 don't work).....fate for once working for us .
It was a good defensive performance littered with fractured attacking play. It is very clear that Bayern were right to not attack Liverpool at Anfield as they would have carried a hefty deficit back to Germany. The fear of our transition play meant they are the ones who had a bigger gap between defence and attack. I consider Alaba a good LB but how many times did he help double up on TAA? The second half was when we decided Bayern were bust and they could hardly put up any fight. It was a mature performance just not entertaining.
