We're playing with fire, and just about getting away with it. But worrying, because Leeds & Sheff are looking pretty solid at the moment, as if they're not going to drop many more points. After predicting all season that 85 might be enough, I'm now worried that 90 might not be!

But IF (big if) we beat Rotherham (they won tonight and are making a decent fight of staying up), we must be a minimum of five points clear of third place.

Sheff win: Sheff 4 points behind, Leeds go 5
Draw: Leeds go 4 behind, Sheff 6
Leeds win: Leeds 2 behind, Sheff 7

i'm gonna go out on a limb and guarantee you that one of them will drop at least 2 points this weekend!

That was way too close! Players still working hard but I wonder if they're tired?

There was certainly too many "average" performances tonight and no one really shone with the exception of Steeps & Arrons perhaps
Onel did some good stuff but he never convinced me tonight
Pukki was totally out of touch all night
Krul was Krul, of course <laugh>
The rest were "steady" without looking great

SORRY! Realised my original post was littered with things that sounded totally illogical. All the tension of the game, of course, rather than my becoming senile. I think it makes sense now.

Whoscored rated Hull higher than Norwich. I'm losing a little faith in that site. NCFC: 6.61 - Hull 6.73

Agree with lot of the comments above. It’s actually not a good performance at all. Even Buendia gave the ball away more than he should have in the circumstances, though he was obviously superb.

Stiepermann was the standout player, though credit to Trybull too who I thought just about kept control

We have to sort it out at the back. Krul can’t keep dallying on the ball like that.

Also our finishing was poor today.

    Thank the lord.

Can’t believe we nearly naffed that up! We were so much better than them. Just sloppy too often.

And Lewis! And Zimmerman (apart from the non-penalty.
Pukki was so out of sorts tonight, Rhodes now has the biggest reason to feel hard done by if he doesn't get a look in, Pukki has credit to spare but he's seemingly scuffing and snatching at his chances, he's missed a few these last two games that he's been gobbling up.
Would I drop him? probably not, depends how good Jordan's looking in training

    Bah!

Beautifully done! Imagine if Messi or one of the PL top 6 darlings did that flick. Internet would be in meltdown and we'd never hear the end of it.
