  8. I don’t know about that, KB, but it turns my stomach thinking that Mousers will now believe they can win this competition.

We can win it. We probably won't but we certainly can. No one left got nearer last year and we're a better team now.

Just as with any team it will take a fair bit of luck and being at our best on the day. Odds are we won't win it, but we've always been a team that could win it, all season long.

Yeah, there were certainly teams in the group stages who were never going to win it... But the teams left are all capable.

You've got to fancy Juve for the final. The way in which they turned that Atletico tie around... and Atletico are usually tighter than a nun's chuff at the back too.

I'd say Barca, Juve, Man City are the best 3 in it (can't really pick them apart tbh) with Liverpool the other main possibility. On their day none of those winning the competition would be a surprise.

Ajax, Porto, Tottenham or Man Utd would be though. Interesting from here on in, I'll be supporting every English team.

On paper you'd say City, but something about them always shows they can't fight on the two biggest fronts (Prem and CL). I think they'll struggle mentally or physically.

I suspect that by the time they are battling in the semi's the league will be looking healthy for them. Plus, Pep has been here plenty of times before he just needs City to catch up with him. They will sooner or later and then the rest of the football world is probably stuffed.
