in the end this is an away game. expect the pattern to be massive gap between defense and attack. I'd take 0-0 and extra time but any away goal.would be glorious. the front 3 might catch someone out.

Bayern were happy with that draw and there record at home is very very good. the positive for us is they got no away goal. the negative is we have no lead to force them to attack us. most of the time of I said Liverpool got the away draw we would be saying we will win it at Anfield. that's exactly what they are thinking now. we only need a score draw to go through.. first job is don't lose, second is to score.

They'll have to attack us at least once if they expect to win outside of a shootout. They'll be wary of us nicking a goal if it's 0-0 or 1-0 towards the end. My point was why all the doom and gloom? It's a finely balanced tie and anything can happen. It's as close as you can get to a one-off game at this stage, and neither team can sit back unless they open up a big gap. They have home advantage, but any score draw will do us.
given our away record this season AND recently in league as well and given Bayern record at home ..... well... bayern ahoukd be favourites. you said expect a good performance earlier, I had said hope. there's not the evidence there to be expecting a big show.
