Gutted for Buveur D'air, the winner has won it well but it was never the classic renewal they packaged it as. Apples Jade was beaten a long way out and Laurina showed she was all hype, never having beaten a male horse in her life. The odds on the mares was ridiculous and it's a shame we will never know how Buveur D'air would have performed. A puzzler for sure but the winner has done really well and fair play to him.
Jump racing Apples jade Anyone who fell for her winning those egg and spoon races racing from the 3 pole against 3 milers, dont quit the day job. Shame the champ robbed of his 3rd title by a stupid mistake, that's jump racing, even kauto star fell.
Buveur D’Air has been making mistakes all season. Jumping is the name of the game and his jumping let him down today. EOS.
I've seen a couple of mentions for Silver Streak on the forum so well done to those who chucked a couple of quid on that ew at 80/1 and bigger.
A new kid on the block. JP has had more than his share of CH winners. Silver Streak is a real tryer. Fair play to him sticking on gamely for minor honours at 100/1 on unsuitable ground.
And we were all searching round for the Cromwell horses being brought over this week to land a touch on the gaffe tracks
yes, fantastic run by silver streak, true!sad for apples jade,i hope, something will come to light soon..shes much better than this. OLBG MARES HURDLE have to say,i am a wee bit surprised, that LADY BUTTONS is such a high price.shes a classy mare, and has an impressive strike rate, under both codes.so,not impossible, she will run a massive race here,at least e w..
I hope you are right .... she has managed to shrug off the weight of carrying my pennies so far, but I feel she is here to avoid Altior in the CC - yet here is Benie Des Dieux who is also no slouch!
