    i drove 14 hours straight to france via chunnel

    and 14 back

    so a drive then break on a boat will be welcome tbh

    have a decentish set up in car for little un, flying is a problem for him

    Well then it could be an option, but no matter where you go you will be driving a lot. Just try and avoid the ****ty weather season here Sept-Aug.<ok>

    this is the kind of info that is vital

    it would have to coincide with school hols now. can drive a long way if i have say a week. not a weekend

    Ireland to me felt like what England was 30 years ago with a touch of France. Some places are very nice just as in England, Wales and Scotland.
