I'm assuming the 14 week sentence he's just received is for being a Birmingham fan, then they'll hang the tw@t.
Well sadly not hanging, but he's got: - 14 week jail sentence - £350 fine - banned from UK football matches for 10 years - lifetime ban from Birmingham - his name in public now - his hilarious address of Cock Hill Lane revealed but all worth it, cos he's clearly going to be an all time folk hero now for his hilarious and cool actions.
The bellend was at the match with his dad when he jumped the hoardings Can’t get my head round that at all Must be so proud
Think it's the Brexit thing, kinda like a full moon when the Looney's appear.Birmingham 2nd city of the empire but now contesting for recognition with Cardiff, Belfast, Glasgow etc just my opinion mind.
Ha ha, indeed....players weren't ****ing snowflakes back then! Hursty would have turned round and lamped the ****, then stamped on his windpipe and put his *** out on his face! Oh and he wouldn't have got a yellow or red card for it either cos the ref's weren't ****ing snowflakes back then either.
Can you imagine back in the day, someone running onto the pitch and trying to cuff Billy Whitehurst....
Fear is the only thing that will prevent this from happening/escalating. Not fear of being banged up for 14 weeks (out in 4-6 probably), but fear of having the absolute living **** kicked out of them. Would anyone be so quick to try it in a boxing ring when AJ/Wilder are fighting? Probably not cos they would be mindful of getting knocked the **** out. You cross the white line then you're crossing more than just a physical white line in my opinion and anyone on the other side of it is quite within their rights to use whatever force is deemed appropriate in proportion to the threat. Yes we're talking about professional sportsmen here who should be setting good examples, but for me, professionalism needs to be taken out of the equation here. How about setting an example of ****ing defending yourself and sticking up for yourself and what's right? Obviously it won't happen, **** knows what the answer is, there probably isn't one, I just hope to god that it doesn't escalate to the point where someone's life is put in danger. I dread to think of the dark ages that would take us all back to.
I can't help but feel the likes of Sunderland and the FA must look back and think they didn't handle the Harper incident very well. Indeed our own manager Pardew played it down which didn't help. Sunderland manager Steve Bruce seemed more bothered about praising Sunderland fans for giving up the guy who did it as opposed to focusing on the incident which was just bizarre. Pardew said it was ok because a punch wasn't thrown. Then Sunderland only banned him for 3 years and seemed to be citing his age as the reason for lenience. Look where we are now. I recall at the time this and another one at Stevenage got swept under the carpet. Was there any action or comment by the FA on either? Not that I can recall. The little scrote got bailed and attempted to apologise but in reality he should have been flogged with rusty spiked bat. So unfortunately they've all made a rod for their own back by not dealing with things.
10 seconds of fame for jailtime. That's the definition of grade A stupidity. With a bit of luck he'll bump into some villa fans in the next month or so.
