The ONS do not produce stats showing the ethnicity of criminals; but I have no reason to doubt the copper who told me that most burglaries in London are committed by a relatively small pool of active criminals, from white British criminal families.

You don't think having their continent carved up by European powers, who proceeded to plunder all the natural resources, whilst transporting the natives as slaves to the Americas, might have had a negative effect on Africa's development?

 

Small pool of active criminals. Not exactly a comparison for the hundreds of stabbings carried out by BEMS.

Your copper mate will probably tell you that even when these burglars are caught that they rarely get a prison sentence and if they do it is pitifully short and doesn't act as a deterrent. Same with criminals who use knives, they are more than likely not to receive a custodial sentence despite all the rhetoric from current and past Justice Ministers or Home Secretaries.

If prison really isn't a deterrent then what should be used in its place? Having had first-hand experience of Community Service penalties (no, I wasn't the one in the orange jump suit btw) I don't think that is a credible alternative.

How about this as an option? With what happened between Birmingham and Aston Villa it might be the way to go.

They can't build cities or cars or an infrastructure because racism and slavery .

Is violent crime in Japan or China more prevalent than Uganda and The Congo ?

Statistically African countries have WAY more violent crime than yellow ones and when they emigrate they bring their culture with them.

 

How many folk have fitted showers in Gabon or Mali?

Surely the lack of showers in these countries is the reason folk are living long enough to stab each other.
