My first Saints game was in the late-80s at The Dell . I was probably about 11 or 12 (I can't remember who we were playing, and nor can my dad - or even the result), but all I remember was there was a massive terrace brawl, and what seemed like the majority of our terrace surged forward and everyone was chucking stuff and stewards wading in. We had to go right to the back. It was absolutely terrifying. My dad isn't really a football fan, but he never took me again. Infact, I took him to the game on Saturday (with my son - whose second game it was) - and was glad to show him things have changed!
I do.... and he’s stuck with me in the same meetings, hotel and restaurants from now until Thursday evening. His only saving grace is I’m sat at Heathrow and he flies from Manchester. #i’mgoingtobeunbearable

Even allowing for the matches next weekend, we won't be in the relegation zone at the international break. Shudder to think how we'd feel without that timely win on Saturday....even imagining it makes me need a lie down.
Yep me too. Had planned to leave the ground on Sat immediately at full time, as I had a 9pm flight to catch for Hong Kong. Just couldn’t leave - singing, cheering, watching celebrations, which I haven’t seen for many a moon. Finally left ground & had to jog to car to make sure I wasn’t late for flight. Kept my SFC shirt on until I arrived in China now & still grinning every time I stop & think. Wonderful. They must think I’m a really happy westerner! Or slightly mad?
