Needs to put his brain in gear before chatting shhite about fencing and points deductions for Birmingham, and this shhite about knives, let's not forget, no football fan expects to go to a game and get attacked by a player... please log in to view this image
The Palace fan (Matthew something from memory) deserved it. Given what you hear on the terraces I’m surprised more don’t react.
Whether he deserved it or not, did the club get a massive points ban, the answer to that was no, so not sure Neville's over emotional point. Let's not forget this incident either... please log in to view this image or this from the man himself Neville... please log in to view this image Seeing red: Gary Neville races down the touchline to goad Manchester City fans after United's late winner in the derby. and Evra here... please log in to view this image That's just to name a few.
Player punches fan (unless it's a DJ) it should be a case for the courts. It is assault, plain and simple and should be treated as such.
It was funny though, you had that nut job Graeme Souness practically condoning that the fan was lucky players didn't attack him. You got Neville screaming for points deductions, and yet the behaviour of some United players over the years anything but setting an example. After Hillsborough you wouldn't think you would ever hear anyone discuss fencing again, but hey this is Gary Neville and Sky, no one is going to criticise the twat. The fan was dealt with, and will be dealt with, move on. But no all the United fans are butt hurting over their little precious.
Didn't pay much attention but didn't Nev say something like "this sort of thing could see fencing brought back", not actually advocate such a thing ?
Probably but play along ffs And it shouldn't even be a thought. Btw is was Gary not Nev! Although it was the twatish thing Nev would normally come out with!
I'm probably going to be in a minority of one but I totally disagree with you. Footballers are not a law unto themselves. They can trade punches on a football pitch without fear of arrest, so why should a supporter be charged with doing something that the players get away with?
Two wrongs don't make right Saffy. If we allow a free for all where everyone can punch everyone there would be anarchy. Blood on the terraces, kids crying, vile abuse and grounds full of perverse thuggish inbreds in the stands and on the pitch... we'd all be like Chelsea. Is that what you want!
Billy Bremner Kevin Keegan Dave Mckay Roy Keane Vinny Jones Eric Cantona All exemplary examples though the years of how fans should behave
Another fine example of how the law is applied fairly. Did they get a five year ban Now you see why im pissed off with players preaching.
