I found it slightly funny, but nowhere near as good as the podcasts were Gervais & Merchant put him on the spot and laugh their balls off at him

If you'd listened to the Ricky Gervais Show broadcasts from the start, you'd realize Pilkington isn't a fictional character and he's barely changed since he was the quiet producer bloke in the corner of Gervais' studio. Idiot Abroad series one didn't make me laugh out loud that often, but he's got a great Northern pisstakingness in the way he looks at the world and I look forward to the next series. Probably be next year or something, mind.
