Football fans can be a disgrace sometimes. I dont know what clubs can do to stop fans running on the pitch because a life ban is not working as a deterrent......I dont think it will be long before we see our first fatality on the pitch if something is not done.....
In this case though, surely the Police must be involved because it was assault. Lifetime ban plus time in prison with a day in the stocks in the city centre should be order of the day.
Absolutely Stereo. But what punishment will he get.....He not only should be banned for life from every football ground. ( They get around that like others have done) As reported by a CH4 documentary that showed banned fans going to matches. They must have a custodial sentence as well....
The sentences HAVE to be harsh because there’s plenty of pricks looking for their five minutes of “fame”.
