More news from last night . Sadly not the best .

She has a different type of leukaemia now .

4 to 5 weeks of intensive Chaemo , then a week at home , then another 4 to 5 weeks .

Then if all that is successful , Bone marrow transplant at the Royal Marsden ( 6 weeks treatment ) .

Still ,she is only 7 , so has youth on her side , and physically she is much stronger now than she was when she underwent the first treatment a few years ago .

I will still be about but not posting as often , as sometimes I am better staying away .

Hopefully her age will help her battle through the tough times ahead.
My wife had her first doses of radiotherapy at Royal Marsden, before they decided to operate (at St George’s) to remove as much tumour as possible, from her spine.
Treatment today is amazing,if debilitating, so fingers crossed for her and everyone else in the family group.
Does she have siblings who can donate the bone marrow?

 

Her dad ( MY brother ) Her mum & Her sister 9 yaers old , so 2 years older .

** they have not been tested yet , as they are taking it one stage at a time if that makes sense ? **
