Spurs first game at the new ground has been announced as being against either Palace or Cardiff in about 4 weeks. Could be quite a damp squib event looking at the way things are going.
Well, no then. I honestly think they are over reaching with a 62k stadium. They've built in on the back of promises made about a successful future, when in fact they have nothing of substance to base that on.
It's against Cardiff. Apparently they wanted to play some European competition at the ground before failing to qualify for next season.
If they're out of the Top 4 by then it really will be an "after the Lord Mayor show" event. The only thing that could make it worse is if Cardiff beat them, and I reckon plenty of Spurs fans wouldn't think that's unlikely.
The whole thing. He obviously has been a great manager for us. We’ve been in the CL every year for a few years now. We hardly ever were before. As ****ed up as this season has been for us with still no proper home and no new signings in over a year we’re still in the top 4 and in the last 8 of the CL.
How do you make that out, you threw the domestic cups at the first opportunity because Poch thinks they are beneath him.
I remember the conversation that I had at the start of this season with the spuds where they practically all argued that none of our players would walk into their side. They settled on Martial getting on their bench. I’m struggling to see which of the Spurs flops gets in our side right now. Eriksen and Kane would probably make the bench. Sissoko would maybe make a good car park cleaner.
Did you stand up and throw a torrent of abuse towards the end of stoppage time? If not was someone who looked like you and judging by that pic sit nearish you too.
You were in the Chapel then? I think I might have shouted “Feel free to look at your ****ing watch ref!” as Spurs were passing it round the edge of our box. Hope you told your nipper “the scary man is shouting because he’s happy”.
