And that sparky is what Cardiff must do now till the end of the season.....The saints spoilt the day and that is what you are up against as the Bottom sides are fighting for their lives now. Cardiff could not do anything about today apart from win. Great win that could be a life savior and the team i fancy for the last relegation place is Brighton.....I remember Palace a few seasons ago in a worse position than Cardiff and they went for broke and got the points they needed. Cardiff must do the same and believe.....My Neighbour and best mate was at the game and he was texting me how Cardiff was doing and i could tell by his voice he was enjoying the game...I was so happy for him after a string of disappointments in recent games......

Camarasa was the difference going forward and Niasse chased everything but has got the finishing ability of Warren Feeney.[/QUOTE]

That’s not good is it pal? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Niasse is the new Eddie Johnson.

Pity because he did everything else well today.

No hes not. Dont get we wrong I dont rate Niasse very highly.
But hes decent and played well yesterday. Eddie Johnson was completely and utterly useless. A farce of a signing by Dave Jones. The money we wasted on him is one of the reasons we ended up in deep financial sh!t.

Niasse is contributing on the pitch. Eddie contributed nothing but comedy.

Just watched the highlights on MotD. Niasse played some good stuff. Takes up good positions, good first touch, pace, good work rate...……

    …..but no finish.

If he had a finish to go with the rest of the game, he wouldn't be with us.

What he does though, is to keep defenders occupied and create space and opportunity for others.

Just hope colin has finished tinkering and settles on a team.

Exactly that. The difference to the side when effort and pace up front is added, even if no clinical end product, is so obvious.

Defenders can be beaten when turned. Allowing opposition CB's to face toward you up the pitch all the game is food and drink to them - you just get the ball straight back at you. Add pace and get behind them and they're out of their comfort zone running back toward their own goal.

Thought Niasse was a bit isolated at times but that's always going to be the case with the quick long ball through the channels. I don't think holding the ball up is his game - he's more of a head down, arse up type that just goes for it - at least he worries the hell out of defenders.

I don't know if you can learn finishing skills, particuarly at his age - it's either something you possess naturally like Aguero and Salah - and they cost a few bob more than Niasse, and don't often go out on loan either.
