Fitting that on the day Poch bottles it to his former club Southampton, he's talks about dumping Spurs to return to Spain to manage. Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino says he would like to return to Spain in the future and said he welcomes his name being linked with the Real Madrid job as it speaks highly of his achievements with Spurs. "My relation with Spain will always be great and I would love to return one day and oversee a brand of football that could win games and excite people," Pochettino told Spanish television network RTVE in an interview on Friday. "Of course I would come back to Spain, I'm always open to new experiences and projects." http://www.espn.co.uk/football/tott...rid-job-links-i-take-it-as-something-positive
Kipper has naively accepted a season long avatar bet with me that Pochettino will still be at Spurs after Emery has left Arsenal. I'll be posting a thread to ask for suggestions for his avatar, possibly this summer ...
Pochettino looks like he’s actively trying to lower his own stock in preparation for his departure to his new employer.
Ouch He did deserve to get sent off but these things happen. I did find it humorous when the Everton manager came out at the end of the game and complain about the ref being unfair. That takes another level of biased viewing it really does...
Literally came out and said he wants to manage in Spain on Friday http://www.espn.co.uk/football/tott...rid-job-links-i-take-it-as-something-positive
Haslam I have nothing against Newcastle, it's a great club. I could argue that since Ashley's arrival it seems to be the vase but no point in doing that. I'm looking at where you go from here, and despite the tight pockets of the owner, you're not helped by having a manager whose ambitions and best days are behind him. Great result today though.
It genuinely looks like he hates his job now, poor HIAG, who would they even get in after Pooch? Let’s be serious for a minute... Eddie Howe. Rafa Benitez. Alan Pardew. Levy has truly ****ed it by not giving Poch a few quid last summer.
I've noticed you've been trying to side step my question about whether you now accept that the #spursy tag is justified. So is it justified ?
Neil Warnock might fancy a new challenge. We'd have the small matter of sorting out Kipper's avatar for the season first of course.
