Mike Stock is *very* pro-Trump/Farage/Brexit. He's on the most Eastern side of right-wing, so he can do one tbh!

I'm in the kitchen it's breakfast in bed for Mrs Jab, smoked salmon and scrambled egg,

This will do for the morning mood, something a bit more rousing as KO approaches.

Listened to Led Zeppelin II the other day after probably a decade or more. Forgot how good it was.
Here's their ripping Howliin' Wolf tribute, The Lemon Song [Killing Floor]

OK, while we're at it, I'll pop up the LZI track that I haven't been able to drive out of my head for a week and counting. Maybe this'll do it: Dazed and Confused. Would help if it wasn't so sodding good:

    Have a sing-a-long:
Been dazed and confused for so long it's not true.
Wanted a woman, never bargained for you.
Lots of people talk and few of them know,
Soul of a woman was created below. yeah!
You hurt and abused tellin' all of your lies,
Run around sweet baby, lord how they hypnotize.
Sweet little baby, I don't know where you've been,
Gonna love you baby, here I come again.

Every day I work so hard
Bringin' home my hard earned pay
Try to love you baby, but you push me away.
    Don't know where you're goin'
Only know just where you've been,
Sweet little baby, I want you again.
Been dazed and confused for so long, it's not true,
Wanted a woman, never bargained for you.
Take it easy baby, let them say what they will.
Will your tongue wag so much when I send you the bill?

Bit of trivia which might make you take a wee step back. During recording of this track, both Plant and Bonham were just turned 20 years old. John Paul Jones was 22 and Jimmy Page was a relatively elderly 24. For the recording of The Lemon Song, you can add 6 months or so. How they became such accomplished musicians at such a tender age slightly staggers me. :emoticon-0104-surpr

One of my favourite Led Zep tracks TSS, thanks for that! I agree entirely about the youth of those guys, but it’s worth bearing in mind that Page had made his first TV appearance at 13 years old playing in a skiffle band, and was touring with the Crusaders from 15! Of course his years of session work are well-documented, and the list of 1960’s hits he played on is staggering, including tracks by the Who, the Kinks, and the Stones. A musical prodigy indeed!

Tbf, they were experienced, having all been in bands before. Even at their tender ages. It seems a little unfair to single out Page as the prodigy here, as Plant, Jones and Bonham instantly became some of the best exponents of their respective skills ever. However, as if being a premier lead guitarist itself wasn't enough, Jimmy Page also learned quickly how to produce a record. There is a noticeable level of improvement in production between Led Zep I and II, and only 6 months between them.

Still claiming him though. I was born in Somerset and moved Eire by 6 months old... Still claim to be Somerset. I did move back there after my time in the Republic, just to reinforce my claim.
A mate of mine moved to Wales, and drove his pregnant wife back to Somerset when she went into labour, just to ensure the baby was born in the correct county. These things matter

All my 3 children were born in Bath, which was in the county of Avon at the time, but Avon ceased to exist in 1996. Are my children therefore stateless citizens?

    Reflecting on …

She´s young. She´s on the playlist at BBC Wales. Hope this becomes one of the A list récords on Radio 2 despite it being in Welsh. It deserves to be.

Avon never existed for me, I refused to use it in addresses and wrote Somerset instead. My mum is a bit militant and never recognised Avon as anything other than a river, and I did the same. I think the Independent Republic of Somerset will accept your kids Chilcs, we're not discriminatory :emoticon-0100-smile

Not forgetting Rutland!! First it was, then it disappeared and now it is back again. Not sure if Middlesex, the county of my birth, even exists any more other than in sporting events and for postal purposes and for Arsenal fans to poke a little bit of fun at Tottenham as it was in the country until consumed by the GLC.
